Wednesday WLS Express
then I'm not sure what- there was talk of the zoo. Tonight my BIL Mike (who is a trained chef but works as a mailman) is going to make chicken frecasse (sp) and chicken parm for us.
Chris was back at school yesterday. He is now taking art and is a library aide now for his second semester electives. He seemed to be happy with both.
Gina-hope the audit went well. For those that said they had plans to take down the tree the last few days-good for you. I'm not sure when we'll get ours down but hopefully before Valentines. lol. Bryan is traveling 2 weeks in Jan- in a row so we won't see him for 14 days or so. He will also be gone 2 weeks in March and 2 in April.
I'm enjoying my family time for sure. Emily and Abby are adorable and Maggie is just so snuggable. I fell asleep holding her yesterday in the easy chair. Too funny.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Good morning, ALISSA and all!!
I figured I had better post from home, cuz work is going to be a tornado day today. Wednesdays are always the busiest day of the week, plus this week we have the State surveyor living with us..woohoo..at Care Conference today, it's time for our doc from the Phillipines, who mumbles. I sit by him, and am pretty much the only one who hears/understand him, so I interpret for the group, and put stuff in front of him to sign, etc. The State lady will be "watching" all today..woohoo..lol..What is the stuff everyone uses, in the movies, in peep's drinks, to make them stay in the bathroom all day? They make it look so easy...hmmm...
So far my FOCUS for 2012 is going well..though outside forces sure are working against me (see above)..I want bad carbs..not having them..but I want them!
Prayers all around-hope nobody minds-and group (((HUGS)))
LOVE Y'ALL!!!!

I went to Teen Challenge last night and my son finally got his haircut although I had to do it outside and it was cold and windy. Brrr...not sure why he wanted to do it outside...guess he didn't want to sweep or vacumn up the hair. LOL It was OK....I am pretty quick at it. I have to call the center today and talk to this one young man who came and did some work at my house a month ago. Oh BTW...if anyone needs ANY KIND of work done around their house....they do those kind of jobs...pretty much any kind and are VERY reasonable and they will travel anywhere to do it. Just a FYI. That being said....the young man didn't do ANYTHING wrong. He is 25 and has a 4 yr. old he hasn't seen in almost 8 months. So we are going to pay for him to take a bus to Indiana to spend 3 days with his daughter. He gave me info last night but failed to tell me what town in Indiana and his last name. LOL Kinda hard to get him a bus ticket without knowing the last name and town. I am looking forward to the warmer weather on friday. I am already tired of the cold winds. Brrr....have a great day and drive safely.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

VIv that is great that you are getting this young man a bus ticket to see his daughter, I am sure your act of kindness will be greatly appreciated.
Had to go back t work yesterday and it was less than 2 hours that I started feeling the stress, oh how I wish I could retire.
Today agenda is work of course and a trip to Aldi's to get a few things.
Dad is doing SO much better and they are working on getting him out Thurs or Fri, The plans are for him to go to my sisters so we can assist with changing his ostomy bag as they don't want him doing it with his open wound. Home Health does not come out daily for that but will come to take care of the wound. So now we have the stress of finding someone to care for him the week we will all be gone on a cruise. Hoping we can find some one to come to his house twice a day to empty it and that we don't have to put him in a skilled nursing facility that week.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Gina: want bad carbs..not having them..but I want them! - Im working hard at this too - just because there is food here in the office doesn't mean that I need to check it out and sample everything !!! grrr
Vivian - You guys will truly be blessed for what you are going to do for that "dad" - OH My - how wonderful is that? Hey - if you ever need anything done- my brother is pretty handy about a little of this and than - loves animals and yard work........it would give me a reason to get my butt over to you and visit with you too !! Just saying !!
Not much going on in my world. Amanda returned safe and sound from Broken Arrow - she was up there from 12-24 thru 1-3-12.....she really enjoyed her time with her Auntie and I kinda enjoyed us being seperated for a little while....
I gotta get back to work - 2 peeps out today which really doesn't affect me much - but may trickle down later.....
Luv you all - have a great day and MAKE GOOD CHOICES !!
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.
