THURSDAY WLS EXPRESS

Good morning!! All Aboard! What are you New Year's Eve plans???

Morning everyone! Mom and dad arrive today, Jess and Emily arrive tomorrow, and Mike and Abby arrive Sunday so I'm very excited that soon my whole family will be together! Jessica's husband Mike couldn't get off wor****il 1/1 but Jess wanted to spend more time with the new baby here so she and Emily (3) are flying first. They'll stay with us so I'm going to borrow some toys from the neighbors and have some stuff DVR'd for her to watch.

I work today and then I'm off till Jan 5th. I'm looking forward to some time away from work, for sure.
For NYE, the wonderful Ms Phyllis is coming over to watch the kids while the adults go to Edohana for supper. Then we're coming back for family game night.

Sounds like a house full of company for you and Brian.

Nothing major here.  Having sandwiches and games at my mother's house if I don't wind up working.  To the best of my knowlege I'm not.

After sitting in a boring as watching grass grow type in-service class yesterday it is back to the regular grind today.  Mom and BN are heading to First Monday today in Canton.  See ya' when y'all get back.

We never do anything New Years Eve.    My hubby is usually asleep way before midnight and I am usually watching TV and fall asleep on the couch before midnight.   LOL   I don't really see plans for this year changing.    I know the church where my youngest son is music minister is having a progressive dinner and I have thought about attending that but I hate being on the roads with all the crazy people driving under the influence of no telling what.    I do need to go buy some blackeyed peas though.    We like fresh ones and usually don't have them any other time of the year.    Enjoy your family and have a great time out to dinner.    Give Phyllis a BIG HUG from me too,

No plans for the New Year yet. My daughter is visiting so we'll see if any of us make it to midnight! Probably not, we'll all probably be in bed by 10!

Good morning, ALISSA and all! Am feeling a but physically crappy this AM, but we are already on a "less than skeleton crew" so I sucked it up and came to work. I'm in the office, and won't be around pts today-and don't have anything contagious (good old migraine based crap), so it doesn't effect anyone but me-and everyone who has to hear me moan...whine..*****oops..guess that includes Y'ALL...sorry....

NYE will be way more "low key" than it has been in recent years..will be with close chosen family members...eat too much/play games/eat too much/try to stay awake/eat too much/be grateful for my blessings/be sorry I ate too much...

Prayers and (((hugs))) all around. My prayer life has not been what I strive for it to be. My personal life with God will be one and only "resolution" for the new year. All others must take take a back seat. They will "fall into place" when my daily walk is what it should be.

Good morning!

For New Year's Eve my DH a few friends and I plan to go downtown Austin.  They usually have nice fireworks over the lake.  That is if I survive the cold that long. 

Last night we had some friends over to watch UT play in the Holiday Bowl.  My DH made baby back ribs and they were sooo good.  I am lucky there were a few left for my lunch today, mmm mmm.  I was the only one who had to work today so everyone left pretty late and I didn't get to bed until 2am.  I am so tired today and I see many cups of coffee in my future. 

Yesterday I put together a collage of my Before and After pictures, so figure I'll share it with y'all.

I'm at work - I'm not gonna do anything  - work.......get ready for work the next day -
I still don't know what Wells Fargo Lockbox dept's plans are for NY day -  so don't know if I'm working that day - short hours - normal hours - whatever or on 1-2-11.......
Job 1 - is off at 3pm tomorrow - Friday and then off on Monday -  back to work as usual on Tuesday -

Like everyone else - I'm normally asleep by midnight on NYE -  but if I'm someplace - I won't be...  I am babysitting as Alissa says -  can't wait to color and well - crowd control I think will be the word for it !!  hehehehe  just kidding....

I may come home - get off of the roads as early as possible and have a drink at home !! :)safer that way -   diet coke and malibu rum - waller in my loniless and sorry - about not having anyone in my arms AGAIN !!   I sure was hoping WLS would change that - but it hasn't !!   Surgery can't fix everything - can it ?   But It has made alot of things easier !! 

My Prince from last year IS in Lawton, Oklahoma seeing and/or visiting with his sister in law - his brother is still stationed overseas (afghaniston I think) and won't be home until March - ...
2 of his daughters traveled with him from Minneapolis this trip - so not sure I'll get to see him -  it sucks knowing that he is less than 4 hrs away and I can't even get a hug or a kiss !!!  grrrrrr
Oh - that life just isn't meant to be for me ......so I just need to move on and I'm trying -  2011 has NOT been nice / kind to me..............the only way is UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
