Jump on the Christmas Eve train. I know people willbe busy today cooking, going to church or Christmases with family and friends.

I'll be cleaning house today. I prefer to come back from my vacation to a clean house. At 5:00 we will go to church for our Christmas Eve service, then take a drive through one of our city parks to look at Christmas lights. When we get home we are going to watch It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story.

Tomorrow will be all about family.

Safe travels for anyone traveling. Have a great Christmas Eve.

Karla

Good Morning!

About to start packing for the five hour trip to Nacogdoches. We're having dinner with my Mother in law this evening then we'll spend tomorrow with my family.

It is wonderful to be spending time with family. My daughter will follow us home on Monday and spend a week or so with us! So excited to have time with her in between semesters.

Good morning,

Tonight we have Christmas at our house with the in-laws and tomorrow with my family at my sisters.   Dad is still in the hospital so we plan to do another Christmas when he gets out to play our gift exchange game and to eat of course, we are just doing snacks type foods tomorrow.  Dad's lady friend is coming today and they are getting her a roll away bed so she can stay the night; he is looking forward to it.

Today I need to go to the grocery store and get things for tonight and tomorrow and go see Dad before in-laws get here.

Happy Christmas Eve!

Last minute shopping and wrapping.  Coffee run in the process since I'm at home tomorrow on call all day and can't drift too far off base just in case.  Supper and presents tonight at Mom's.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Good morning! I've been up for quite a while- I have bronchitis. I've been fighting a cold all week but yesterday when I woke up, I knew I was sick. So, off to the doctor and home with antibiotics and cough syrup.
Today our plans are to continue to rest-Bryan is sick too- and then I'll clean house and Bryan will make some pies and start whatever else needs to be done for Christmas dinner. Tonight is church and maybe going to look at Christmas lights.
Tomorrow Bryan's dad will come up, we'll go to church at 10 and then my sister and her family will join us for Christmas dinner at 2pm. Should be lots of fun!

I hope everyone has a great day today!

had a blast seeing so many of my sistah friends yesterday!!

hit toys r us and walmart with Dad this am and finished up his Cmas shopping except for one brother in law n wife that he is still debating on what to get them - the rest of us are getting keurigs with extra coffee LOL he may go back and get them one too. He got one the first day we were here after seeing me in coffee withdrawl that morning - 20 hour drive plus a 3 yo that decided to get up every hour plus me with no coffee is UGLY!!

we are getting together with Tim's brother and sister and families tonight here at Dad's house - it will be the first time we have all been together since Mom's funerual 3.5 years ago so I expect some griefing to come up along with a lot of laughter and fun. My kids are loving meeting their cousins and can't wait for the girls to get here.

tomorrow we will spend with family by choice and hopefully Monday I will get some more sistah  time

have a very Merry Christmas or whatever you are celebrating - enjoy those you are with and tell them you love them

peace

Hoping on the afternoon train today. I've missed the last few trains. I have been so incredibly busy. I am ready for some down time and right now may be all I get. Seeing my brother on Tuesday was amazing and depressing all at the same time. I miss him so much. I did get to hear him say how great I looked. He was really amazed. That's my WLS woohoo for the week. Since then we have been running around getting everything ready for tonight. Today, for whatever reason, I have been crying at the drop of a hat. Over emotional doesn't even begin to describe it. Maybe it's the weather or that I have worked so hard at faking this whole Christmas spirit and it's all catching up to me. Whatever it is I have to pull myself together and get through this. 'deep sigh'. This too shall pass. Enough Debbie Downer, whether my mood lifts or doesn't one thing that I can say with certainty is that I wish each of you and your families the best Christmas ever!
I'm not perfect but I'm me and that is good enough!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas Eve,    Jenn....it is OK to be sad on Christmas Eve or any other day.    I was sad a couple of days ago thinking about my middle son not being with us tonight and him being in Teen Challenge.   I'm praying for you and Jason.    Losing a child isn't easy even it you weren't very far along.   I know that God will bless you both with another one in the near future.    I have been cooking all day long today and I am not finished yet.   This is a super busy time of year for us all.    Praying that you all have a blessed and wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Prayers for those in need.    Have a wonderful evening everyone.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.
