Well, since its 3am and I'm wide awake I might as well start the train! As the year comes to an end, what are you most thankful for?

The problem I have is that I end up falling asleep around 8:30 or 9pm and then at 3 I'm awake. I need to force myself to stay up later!
I'm thankful for a few things- first my incredible husband Bryan. He's so great with Chris and supportive of me. He loves unconditionally which is incredible. And he cooks us great food too.
Secondly my family-they're my greatest supporters and source of my inner strength. I'm also thankful for my new position at work. For 14 years I was a VR Counselor and then last Dec I became an Employment Assistance Specialist. Its so much less stressful and I'm so thankful for that.
I'm thankful for you all as well. I could go on and on but I won't.

I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful Christmas and an incredible New Year!!!

Having good family and my part-time job morphing into a full-time gig.  Yesterday I would have told you differently about the job!

Speaking of which that is where I'll be today.  Having our "employees only" Christmas breakfast this morning.  This afternoon company is coming and bringing her dog with her since she'll be here for X-mas.  Will be interesting to see how the pooches get along.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Good Morning Alissa, Don, and TMB family,

What I am most thankful for that happened this past year is my middle son getting free from his herion addiction.    God has been SO good to my family this past year ( thank God I can now see that ).    I know earlier in the year it seemed like a living hell but God turned all the bad into GREAT !!!
Thank you for having us tell what we are Thankful for at the end of the year.    WE all have so very much in our lives that we sometimes take for granted.    I myself have a habit of doing that too.     I am thankful that the TMB is getting more active again.     Thankful for all my friends here on OH.    Thankful I am going to be able to spend a little time with my middle son on Christmas day and thankful that I am finally going to become a grandmother in 2012.   Prayers for everyone in need and all who has lost a loved one this year and are going through their "firsts" without them.   Have a blessed and safe day.

Hugs and blessings ~~~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Good morning. We had a storm and 3-4 inches of rain since the wee hours of the morning. One big TV is now dead due to a lightening strike. It got my alarm clock, but hopefully nothing else.

I'm thankful at it didn't burn the house down! I'm also thankful for a loving family, great friends and a job.

I'm hanging at the house today baking cookies and packing.

Have a good day.

Karla

I'm working until noon today then I'm off until Monday, January 2.

I'll also be traveling to Los Angeles January 5-7 to meet with my doctoral dissertation Chair and hopefully get some critical feedback on my dissertation! I'm so excited to be progressing on my doctorate. The dim light at the end of the tunnel is there, I just have to keep walking towards it!

I'm thankful for my husband and for my Texas Message Board new friends. Finding this forum has been such a blessing to me as I journey through WLS. I have my questions answered and my fears calmed. I have accountability and joy. I delight in connecting with you all each day.
