Morning everyone! Its time to get moving!!!

I'm so jealous because Bryan and Chris are home today and tomorrow and I have to go to work. As a result, I'm not moving too quickly-need to get moving or I'll be late to work.

I started on Neurontin this morning for my nerve pain. I hope it doesn't make me too sick. I downloaded an app on my phone to remind me to take it 4 times a day.

Hey You Guys!

I'm at my part time campus waiting on paperwork to get signed. It's not even my paperwork or my kid, I'm just doing a favor. Sigh.

At 12 I am OUT of here!!! As soon as I can fire up the horses in the white expedition I am in route to DFW airport to get Kaylee. I'm glad she's coming home. I hope that the drama with her dad is done and over with and it can be an enjoyable few weeks.

Blake has on his Santa Claus outfit today. It's hard to believe that he's almost one. Makes me so sad that he's growing so quickly.

Well I better get back to the paperwork stack.

Fixing to head to another day of "grime fighting".  I may be be the Grinch and give away some courtesy stationary (citations) to some folks that have them coming but other than that when I get home I've got laundry to do and presents to wrap!

Work kept me busy yesterday,  I thought with a lot of folks on vacation I could work on what I wanted too but that was not the case.  At least I did manage to take a long lunch and make a run to the grocery store.

After work I will run to go see Dad since I never made it yesterday.

Good morning, my TMB family! Well, WORK seems to be our common denominator this morning. I found out, yesterday, our office is closed on Monday, so I'll be off. I didn't even know, and hadn't thought to ask! Duh to me! I'm not going out of town, or planning any big celebrations, so it didn't really matter, but sure won't pass up a paid day off either...

While driving up I-35 thru south Ft Worth, this morning (and passing ALISSA's work), I saw highway signs that read "All highways to Colorado closed, due to snowstorms"..lots of folks already stranded...I can't even imagine how miserable they must be..and how disappointed...I freeze when the temps dip below 60 here-with NO precipitation! Extra special prayers for any of our TMB family travelling this Christmas season...DON-don't you hesitate to get those speeders-people need to be EXTRA safe, so everyone can get where they are going, in one piece...

Ok...sigh..time to go crank up my work train..Wednesday is my busiest day of the week...have a full schedule, then meeting some peeps for dinner tonight (will be out PAST "gown:thirty" 2 nights in a row  *gasp*)..

Good morning. I had a late night last night and slept in this morning. We went to Nacogdoches to watch a friend play basketball. sFA beat Rice in overtime. It was a good game. Daylynn almost cried when she saw all of her Livingston peeves there. There were her parents and one brother and 10 others from Livingston there.

Today I need to run to the grocery store after deciding on some Christmas goodies and desserts to make and what side dish I'll take to my sisters on Christmas day.

I also plan on packing today or tomorrow for our trip. I ordered Ben a short wetsuit for scuba diving. Hopefully it will be in tomorrow. It was a bargain and cheaper than renting one 4 days in a row incase he scubas that much. My brother is renting a boat to take them out to dive one day and is planning on flying them to Little Cayman to dive the wall there another day. I'll just be snorkeling and hoping for a dolphin excursion and to go to Stingray City.

Happy Wednesday TMB Family,

Can't believe that Christmas is almost here.    This year has flown by and hope that  2012 isn't a repeat of this one.  LOL   I am not sure what I am going to do today.    I imagine more baking of cookies to take to Teen Challenge and for my family here.   Ya'll may need to pray for me....my hubby is off for  10 days and he seems to get in my way ALOT when he's off.  LOL  Gotta love the guys getting in the way.  LOL   My oldest son and DIL decided not to purchase the house they were looking at.   It had MAJOR foundation problems that was repaired and the owners had them back out and the company said they couldn't guarantee that the foundation could hold up to the repairs.    It was a nice house but old and had some major issues that I pointed out to them.   I told my son I was sorry for being so bold about the  house last night.   He said I was nothing compared to what his FIL said.   LOL   So they both decided to keep looking.   My granddogs need a yard and my future grandbaby does too.   SO I am looking online to try to find them one.    Prayers for everyone in need and the members of our TMB family who are experiencing the "firsts" this year without some of their loved ones.   I can so relate to that and it is very painful.    Prayers for everyone to have a blessed Christmas and drive safely everyone.    Hope your new meds help you and don't make you ill Alissa.    Have a blessed day !!

Good morning everyone!

Man has it been a crazy last few days.  Friday I was sick and didn't go to work.  Saturday I was feeling better so did a little Christmas shopping.  Sunday I finished Christmas shopping except for my husband and made biscotti for everyone at my office.  Monday I went in to work and my boss sent me home, apparently he was mad that I called in Friday and thought I faked being sick.  Needless to say I didn't argue with him I really didn't want to be there so I went home and decorated my Christmas tree and baked molasses cookies and relaxed.  Yesterday I got my hair done, I love how pretty I feel when my hair looks nice and my roots aren't showing. 

I don't have to work Friday or Monday and am really looking forward to another 4 day weekend.  I'm traveling to my parents which is south of San Antonio Friday night and will be coming home Sunday so I can have a day to relax at home before going back to work. 

Only one more day of work for me and Christmas begins... Can't wait! :)

Been moving. Cleaning the house as the middle son is due anytime now for at least a week. (Totally unexpected, but very much happy for it!) Of course, I know if I am LUCKY - his bag will make it to the spare room before he puts his rear end on the sofa in the den, changes the TV channel to some "hip" channel, and asks what there is to eat! Would not change it for anything.
Keeping busy as if I don't I will really start to miss my mom this year. She was always the one to keep all of us "connected" and there definitely has been a lose of connection between myself and at least 2 of my brothers. But, I got my kids, daughter in laws, granddaughter, and of course, Mr. Mike. So, it will be a good holiday.
Next iron transfusion is tomorrow. What fun!
