Colonoscopy

TMB,

I am having a colonoscopy in the morning which means I get to take the preparation mix today. I am suppose to drink 1 liter of the mix (8 oz every 15 minutes) and then immediately after a mim. of 16 oz of clear liquids.

Then 3 hours later, I do it again....

Has anyone had to do this and did you have any trouble? I am only allowed clear liquids (chicken broth, SF jello, and water- is what I have had since 6 am).

Any suggestions on managing it, feeling lighthead.

At this point, you may have already had it. I had one 2 weeks ago. The prep was horrid. I had to struggle to not throw up the prep mix. It definitely worked though! I was not able to do all the clear liquids though.....Just would not stay down. I had 6 hrs between the two takes!

Thanks Anne. It was this morning, and all is good!! : ) I had basically from the first mix to the second mix a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes.... It was start one at 5 and the second at 7. It was not so bad the mix, it was the quanity of liquid in a short amount of time that did me. 1 liter and then 16 oz of water and then the next within an hour- repeat. Pouch did not like.
