Good Morning TMB!!!!
Three days in a row. It's turning into a habit. :)
Christmas shopping is almost done. Still need to buy something for my Dad (he's always difficult to buy for), need a couple more things for the eldest son and a couple more for hubby and I am D.O.N.E. Can't wait. Almost everything is wrapped and under the tree. I wrap everything as I bring it home so it's not overwhelming.
ALISSA - this is for you.... Midway High School made it to the State Championship game!!!! They play tomorrow night at 8:00 in Cowboy Stadium!!!! Cost of the tickets is $15 per person at the door. We are going as Matthew was selected by the MCJROTC department to be on the Color Guard!!! That's right!! MY SON will be on the field in Cowboy Stadium!! I'm so excited for him.
This means another trip to Dallas for us. This will be my third so far this month....with two more scheduled - to pick up and drop off son #1 at the airport for his Christmas Leave. I'm not complaining. I love driving up. Just wish I had more time to get together with y'all while I'm there... *sigh*

Jumping on the afternoon train today. I got up this morning but had to hit the ground running so didn't have time to jump on. Currently sitting in the car headed to yet another store looking for Christmas presents. This will be the fourth place we have been today and still have bought nothing. I think in total we have bought one Christmas present and come to find out the person already has one. I am officially out of Christmas spirit. It's going to be really tight here as well. When I was out on medical leave neither Jason nor I got paid because we were completely out if vacation because of the wedding. So no Christmas for either of us but we have managed to have enough to buy those absolutely necessary presents and all the bills are paid so everything will be fine. Man I just reread what I wrote and I sound really negative. I honestly don't feel that way. Maybe I need a Starbucks.
I'm not perfect but I'm me and that is good enough!
We are doing it up big this Christmas thanks to the money I inherited from my mother. (Though all of us would gladly go w/o a single present to have her here for Christmas with us. But, she will be here in spirit!) Almost all the shopping is done, except for one more gift for the oldest boy and getting some cash for his wife and him. And buying a few more baby clothes for Miss. Kimi.
NOTHING is wrapped yet. Going start that process next week as it is all on Austin's bed and he will be home on the 23rd and might want a place to sleep. (And I can't wait to have him yell "Mom, go rattle those pots and pans!")
