Tuesday WLS Express- BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE

Hard to get up this morning-blankets are warm and I'm COLD!! Oh well, you burn more calories when you're cold so I guess I'll take what I can. Have a great day everyone!

Speaking of burning calories- I will be touring 100,000 sq foot warehouse today, getting a plant tour and taking a look at some jobs so I guess I'll get to work off lunch since its at 2pm. The good news is that its only 2 miles from home so when we're done, I get to go home.
Took Chris to see The Muppet Movie last night. Bryan is out of town and he didn't want to see it. It was cute- cheesy at times, but the Muppets are cheesy. So it was good. Chris cracked me up all the way home. We were listening to a commercial about forrest fires and they said, if you see someone that is doing something that might cause a fire you should step in a do something to stop it and Chris said-you know they really should clarify the word something. I mean a guy could be smoking and some other guys could say- oh we'll step in alright, and beat the guy up. He cracks me up.

good morning my tmb family

found out yesterday that Tim's leave form is signed off on so one more step closer to coming home for Christmas. Less than 2 weeks till Cmas leave starts and I have sooooo much to do between now and then it isn't even funny but what gets done gets done and what doesn't will be waiting for me when I get back :)

for those that remember James our bonus son he is living in RI but it looks like he might be coming to TX with us for leave - I am so excited I love that kid and miss him so much - it's been 2 1/2 yrs since he was with us but he and I chat on FB fairly often - he is the one that showed me how to video chat on FB - he loves seeing the kids, esp the little ones - he keeps telling me I let Rach grow too much b/c she was so tiny

If you are a praying person please keep one of our soldiers in your prayers - he had a major cardiac event and is still in the hospital a week latter, he is very young with a very young brand new  wife. Thank you.

meetings today and then errands is about it around here for today -need to log my volunteer hours better so I might work on that latter today

I was up showered, dressed and got out in the cold to get gas and cash all before 7,  which is good for me since I normally don't get up till 7:30 and sometime**** the snooze. 

Had a stressful day at work yesterday, hoping today is better.  Plan to take a extra long lunch and head to Sulphur Spring to see Dad, unless they get word that he will be moved to Baylor today.  They are trying get him in a Baylor Specialty hospital which is 20 minutes from me and a much better hospital.

 Good Morning Alissa and TMB Family,

PLEASE everyone if you believe in prayer pray for Darwin Cox's family.    Darwin was the young man found dead in a tent in Denton last saturday.    His family have been great friends of ours....ex neighbors.....part of our church family for over 30 years.   I have known his Momma since she was a young girl.     My heart is really heavy and hurting today.    I am going to try to go and talk to his Momma today before his funeral this afternoon if at all possible.     He was a friend of my son's who is in Teen Challenge when he was active in our church youth group.    I can't imagine having to bury my ONLY child.    Please keep his Mom in your prayers.    She has a drug addiction problem and I am going to talk to her about Teen Challenge.    Her Momma has tried to get her to go there but she won't listen to her....maybe I can get through to her.    PLEASE pray for me also that I will say something to get through to her.    Prayers for Saundra's Dad, Meggie and her family, and everyone else who is hurting this time of the year.     The holidays are really hard for so many many people.   On a pleasant note....tomorrow is my middle son who is in Teen Challenge.....his 26th birthday.    I am talking him gifts later and a birthday cake and ice cream.    Keep him in your prayers too if you will since Darwin was a friend of his.     Have a blessed day everyone,

I'm praying for the family as well as for the family Danni asked us to pray for and Saundra's dad as well. Hope he gets moved today. Baylor has good specialty hospitals. Vivian - Does your son have an email address that he can access? I'd be glad to send him an e-card if you'd like. Maybe others will too. That way he knows we are praying for him and his recovery.
