Prayers for Meggie this AM.

Working early today so may be can get a walk in this afternoon.  Working a later schedule this week has put me out of kilter in the exercise department.

Tried new bar-b-que place yesterday.  "Grease feast!"  Tasted okay but with all the grease, I even patted it off with a paper towel, and the sauce was afraid of possible consequences so stopped at one rib and few bites of the slaw.

Y'all go out and make it a GREAT day!

I am up early for a Saturday have to drive down to my sisters, she has to work today so I have Daddy duty.  This will be my 1st time to play nurse and hook up the IV.

Going to stick my coupons in my purse so I can stop in Rockwall on the way home and do a little shopping, hate for a good coupon to go to waste.

SAUNDRA-good luck with the "nurse stuff"-I have no doubt you'll do just fine-labors of love just always seem to work out. KUDOS to you and your sisters, for what you are doing for your daddy. Obviously I have seen thousands who would NOT (many COULD not, but many would not even be willing to TRY). Y'all obviously have SUPER love for your daddy-which shows me HE loved y'all FIRST...sure makes me miss MY daddy..hope you don't mind me living living vicariously thru you. I love reading your posts, and watching your dad's progress.

Good morning, DON, and the rest of our TMB family! I'm on my 3rd hour of Dr. Phil reruns...just laid up...in my Craftmatic adjustable bed (thanks, again, LIZ!)...got the head of the bed cranked up...drinking Click...seriosly need to get a life, I know...but have no set "obligations" today, so I am LOVING this..I normally have Dr. Phil on when I'm getting ready for work, then have to rush out the door, so it's kinda cool to just hang out in here. I finally went and got the laptop out of the living room, so I may not leave this bedroom all day!! The guys all went to work, so it's me and the chis...a girl could get used to this lifestyle....

Continued prayers for our MEGGIE, as she and her family make arrangements/greet guests/do all the million things necessary for her mother's services, etc-before she can ever get on with her private grieving. I know she knows WE will be here with her, every inch of the way-FOREVER..

Hope everyone has a SUPER Saturday-and finds some "me" time-maybe not 3 straight hours of Dr Phil reruns isn't YOUR thing-but find SOMETHING-just for YOU!!!

Good morning! I slept in until Chris knocked on our bedroom door at 8:15am, and as far as I know Bryan is still asleep. We never sleep this late, so that was good. Then again we were up later last night. We went out to eat and to WalMart, our usual date night, lol. Tonight we're watching Maggie, her first time away from her mama, so that Christy can attend the Nutcracker, that Sophia is performing in. I worked from Christy's house yesterday and I gave her a bath. Its been 14 years since I bathed a newborn! I loved it.

Better late than never.   LOL   My heart is breaking for Meggie and her sisters.     It's been almost 5 yrs. since my Momma went to Heaven so I can so relate to where she is at.     Prayers for you Meggie.    I have had a good day.   Went to Support Breakfast this AM and then went shopping.    I found a blouse for Dr. Kim's patieints Christmas party and then went and tried on a size smaller jeans just to see if they would fit ( the size I was wearing keeps trying to fall off ) and THEY FIT !!!  I guess with the weight loss I have had lately I lost a pant size and didn't even realize it.    I am EXCITED about that.     Prayers for Saundra's Daddy and Meggie and her family as they prepare for her Momma's service.   Hope everyone had a great day today.   It was too hot IMHO....but who cares about my opinion anyway.   LOL

VIVIAN-alot of people care about your opinion-now please stop downplaying yourself like that..and you didn't say-DID YOU BUY THE SMALLER JEANS???? Please say YES-or go back and get them!!!  Connie Tx had some on last week, that looked so good for women "or age"-called "Not your daughter's jeans"-she got them at Nordstrom's (meaning I can't afford them!), but said she thought Macy's had them too-and probably ebay. I figured when I go shopping I'd try them on, figure out the correct size, then try to find some more "budget friendly"-or ask Santa for them. There were sooooooooo flattering on Connie.

 Thank you Gina and YES I did buy the smaller jeans.    I am with you about not affording Nordstroms unless they were on Clearance.   I have heard of those jeans but have not seen any at JC Penney's, Walmart or Kohls or the Goodwill store.   Those are my favorite stores that I shop at.    Let me know if you find any bargain priced.   I may have to go into Nordstroms when I am walking at the mall before the Christmas crazines****s and try on a pair and see if they fit my body type.

VIV-that amkes me very happy-that you bought the smaller jeans-for you!! Now you KNOW what we'll be expecting-PICTURES!!! You and Connie have a similar body  type, so bet the $$ jeans would look great on you too-please at least TRY them-and I'll live vicariously thru y'all!!

 LOL    Thanks Gina.   Although I believe Connie has curves.....I don't.    I will have to make my way to NE Mall and try on those jeans maybe sometimes before Thanksgiving.     I will try to get someone to take a photo of me with the jeans although I will have to helm them first.
