hey all, just moved from NJ, was wondering if anyone is located in the tyler area..? all my ds buddies are in Nj lol also im looking for a ds dr. Im a year and 7mts post opt and need a dr. can anyone recommend? THANKS N GOD BLESS

Welcome to Texas. There isn't alot of DS docs in Texas but there is one not too far from Tyler. His name is Darryl Stewart and has been doing DS for lots and lots of years. He is the ONLY one that I am aware of that has been doing DS long term.

IMHO the only bariatric doc I know anything about, he did my ex wife's RNY, is Dr. Hugh Babineaux at Tyler Bariatrics.

Yes, Vivian is correct. Dr. Daryl Stewart, in Denton is the only vetted DS doctor in TX. There are several DS'er in TX. We do get together, but not on a monthly bases. You're welcome to PM.
