Anyone in the east Texas area?

I am looking for some friends who know what I'm going through. My doctor is 2 and a half hours away, and would love to find people who live clost to me. I live in Nacogdoches, Texas. Is anyone close to me?

I live in Livingston. I am about an hour and a half away. I'm going to start up a face to face group soon but we will meet here since I live here. I'll post here when I get it arranged. It may be a couple of mons. I'd be glad to have you!

Hey, my mom told me about your post so I signed up to tell you, I'm also in Nacogdoches. I live in town by Sonic, I'm a student at SFA, own a photography business. I had lap band going on 2 years now, and I've lost like 53 lbs. My mom had an unsuccessful lap band as well, and is getting a revision to bypass in 10 days.

Well my mom's actually 5 hours away, lol. But sure, we can hang out. Oh and my doctor's like 4 hours away. Needless to say I don't get fills very often.

What surgery did you have?

I had the gastric bypass..... the major one! I was in ICU for 4 days, and had a terrible time with it at first! In just 4 months I have lost 90 pounds. I lost the other weight before surgery.
