Good morning! I'm out on the road again today, headed to Wichita Falls. I have to see a consumer and then I'll head back to the Fort Worth office. My assistant is leaving at the end of the month and I need to get her my travel documents so that I can get my travel in for August.

Norma-glad you've got some help coming today. Its hard to pack up and move by yourself for sure. I've done that a few times.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day today!

Today is going to be a long day.  Its the first day of classes for me.  I have 3 lectures and a lab so it will be a long day out of the house.  I am a little nervous but really excited to be starring up this next term.

Besides that I have no plans today.  I'm keeping this week completely open and free of any commitments until I get through classes and see what kind of stress I'm going to have.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone,

Have a doctors appointment this morning and then back home to work so I am up early than normal and wondering why a made an early appointment but at least I should be stuck in the waiting room because they are running behind.

Had a good weekend did some shopping after support group meeting on Saturday and Sunday went to SS and then was lazy the rest of the day as it was just too HOT to do anything.

Hope everyone has a great day!

 Good Morning Everyone,

I woke up at 1:30 this AM with one of my doggies barking and was up for over 2 hours before I finally went back to sleep.    Had a great weekend and then a surprise phone call from my middle son last night ( that was so good to hear from him and that he is doing SO well ).   I plan on making a trip tomorrow evening to their meetings and taking one of his friends who NEEDS help also.    I have lots to do today ( car needs to be inspected ) but with the sprinkling outside....not sure I will do that today.   I am getting SO excited about NOLA.   Haven't been there in almost 30 yrs.   Not sure what to expect....I know LOTS of changes for sure.    Hope everyone has a wonderful day and hopefully the weatherman is right and cooler weather and more rain is coming our way.   Prayers for everyone in need.   Have a blessed day  !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Good Morning TMB!!!!

Guess who is HAPPY to be back in TX???? If you said "Susan" you are 100% correct!!  VA was nice - once I got used to it and made friends - but there is absolutely no place on earth like TX.  I'm glad to be back and hope I never have to move away again.  I missed it here!!

We finally have most of the boxes unpacked and everything where it should be.  Once we buy two new bookcases and a tv console (replacements for what was broken in the move), I can unpack my books and finish decorating.  The remainer can go in the attic and I will be done.  I also need to buy a new chair for the living room - perfect corner for reading.  Need to make some decisions on what else to do to my bedroom and the dining room.  But, those decisions can wait a while.

I am happy and proud to announce that the craziness of the summer didn't derail my weight maintenance.  I held it to a range of 142-144.  WHEW!  I think it was a combo of stress and exercise that did it because it certainly wasn't my food choices.  I fell back into some bad habits this summer.  Those are going to be kicked to the curb now that we are finally in our own home.  It's so much easier when I am in control of food purchases.  :)

That's it for an update from me.  Glad to be back and will try to at least ride the train every day again.  I'm in need of support as I try to get off these last few pounds.  I'm ready to fit back into my size 6 clothes.  I've got so many cute things that are simply too tight.  It's either buy new clothes or lose the last little bit.  My vote is for losing weight.....  :)

Welcome back to Texas at to the TMB Susan !!!   Glad to hear you're getting all settled in your new house and new town.    Hope you've located a church.   You may want your kids to ask some of their friends that they are making at school to suggest some to them.   I would say that would make them happiest going to a church where they have friends.   If you still want my friend to suggest a Waco church to you let me know.   She said she would be happy to suggest one once she knows what area of Waco you are in.    Good luck on your furniture shopping and so glad to see you back in Texas.    Have a blessed day !!!

So glad you are happy! My dad preached at Zions United Church of Christ- but I think they changed their name now. They're out on 35 near one of the Hewitt exits. Will ask my dad.
Good for you for sticking to your weight-woo hoo for you!

SUSAN-I think you already know how happy WE are that YOU are back HOME, bu I'll tell you again--and again and again and again!!!! You looked so incredibly beautiful-and HEALTHLY-when I saw you, a few weeks ago. You looked PERFECT, to me--but if YOU think you need to "lose a little" to feel better--okay--just don't go nuts-OK?

I know you are super busy, but you can't imagine how happy it made me to sign on and see your smiling face, HOME, on the TMB. Please post as often as you can. We NEED you, and LOVE you!!

Awwww...thanks Gina.  It was awesome seeing you too!!  We definitely need to do that again - and soon!

It's good to be back on the TMB.  Expect to see me here often.  As for losing "a little" I promise that's all.  When we first moved to VA I got down to 133 and was very happy.  Stress has not been good to me.  I don't want to go below 130 at all...and not even down that low.  135 is perfect in my book.  :)
