I've missed you all. Been out of town camping with my medieval group for the past 2 week. The 2 weeks before that I was MIA because I was tied (chained would be more accurate) to my sewing machine finishing up commission work for other people and garb for me.
School starts up in just a few weeks. I am very excited as I have my first food prep class. I'm told it will be very 'boring' but I've never had anyone really teach me proper knife skills so I'm looking foward to slicing bushels of tomatos and onions.
I was only 4 years old when Elvis died and I sincerly don't remember hearing about it at all. By coincidence we stopped at Sun Studios in Memphis on the way home from PA. It was neat to be around all that history.

I remember where I was...........I figured out that I was about 12yrs old. Really didn't know who Elvis was - could have cared less - but a friend of the family's wife came over to visit my mom and I remember her telling us.........I was in the "dining" room of our house in Streeter, ND.
We had gold and brown printed carpet.......back then - everything was gold, brown and puckie green colorish.........but like I said - didn't have a clue who Elvis was - and didn't really give a crap !!! lol Still not to important of an issue with me - but I do have more respect for the guy and really love his music....and some of the military stories I've heard through the KLUV stories on Sunday morning's hour of dedication that they have....
Not much going on here...
I get to go to the doc today for shots in the knees. Just can't take the pain anylonger and the ibuprofen isn't nor has it touched the pain and I refuse to take pain pills.....trying to just put up with in for the past 4 weeks and it has only gotten worse............

Initial surgery 2006-Highest weight 305 - got down to 180
Having revision surgery soon!
