Good morning! Time to get moving!

I didn't feel good all day yesterday. My tooth hurt all day. I'm not sure if its the one I had a root canal on Friday or the one next to it that needs one. Yesterday it was so bad that I was just exhausted by the time I got home. I ended up sleeping all evening and night. Now I've got to get moving because I'm flying to San Angelo today. I need to pack. My flghti isn't till 9:30am thankfully. I will be back Thursday evening.

Good morning!! Happy ELVIS day!! Where were YOU when you "got the news"? I was doing my last days of nursing school. One of the OB/GYN docs and I were in the elevator. Dr B was known for being a smartass, and trying to harrass students. When he told me Elvis was dead I called him a liar. When we got off the elevator a group of nurses were screaming/crying..so then I knew it was true...funny what you remember..Dr B looked sincerely sorry-and didn't even turn me in for being "disrespectful" to him..

Twas a truly busy, busy day yesterday, and today will probably be much of the same. I like being busy...but..sheesh..lol..Sometimes you like to have time to breathe too!! I DID take a 20 minute "walk break" yesterday-half of it outdoors--be glad when cool enough to take 'real" walks-sure made the afternoon more productive...

Many, many hugs and prayers going out all around the TMB..tough time of year for so many..

I was only 5 years old so I don't remember. I remember when Reagan was shot-my grandma watched us after school and it was one of the few times I ever saw her cry.

When I got the news...I was living in Houston at the time.  That afternoon I was with a college GF at the Safeway store in Humble.  We are both from Ms., so it really hit us hard, and we were in total disbelief.

I was in Lubbock Texas at a friend's house. I was not a huge Elvis fan but did enjoy his music. My niece who was not even born is one of the biggest Elvis's fans I know. So I guess he is gone but never forgotten.

 Morning Alissa and Gina and TMB,

I hardly slept at all last night.   Woke up with a vein on the top of my hand throbbing.   Not sure what that means but it was keeping me awake.    I finally got up before 4 AM ( had been awake since 2) I know that I will probably have to have a nap today.    I am really missing my son today.    Today it has been a week for him and I haven't heard anything.    It is tough on me going through this.   I am glad it is tuesday.  My youngest son has been house/ dog setting for one of the pastors at church and they are coming home today and I am very thankful for that.   I have been alone at night except for my fur babies for the last week and I hate it !!!    Anyway everyone please stay hydrated and have a great day.

Alissa - tooth trouble is never bueno.  Need to go to DDS myself but dreading when I do.  Know I put at least one of his kids through A&M!

Speaking of which I guess they are trying to chase more TV/Bowl money trying to switch to the SEC.  Oh for the days of the former Southwest Conference.

Was a teenager in HS working summer job for the developer of the addition my parent's home was in when heard of Elvis passing.  Oh wait, Elvis didn't die.  He was taken away in a space ship!
 
Work and sweat again today. 

Good morning! Another busy work day on the agenda. Only 198 more work days for this school year.

I am loving my new office and our beautiful new school. Friday I was out in the open cafeteria area which is like a mall food court. I heard piano bar music playing and would have sworn I was in a hotel ****tail lounge. Nobody handed me a margarita.

I don't remember where I was when I heard Elvis died. I like Elvis music and movies, but that is about it. I feel he is still alive seeing as how he was next to me in our local post office a couple of weeks ago. Of course they haul the Elvis I know off to Rusk to the mental hospital a couple of times a year. I'm skeered of him! I ran to my car so he wouldn't talk to me.
