Early Bird Sunday TMB Express
Yes, I know I am up early...couldnt sleep any more, so now I am up. Probably take a nap later on.
Yesterday, I got every thing done that needed to get done. Hair appt, met up with some ladies from my HS...about 10 of us. As usual, I was the oldest one of the group, but I swear I looked as young as those that graduated 4-5 years after me.
Went by the apartments where I will be moving, and dropped off the application and paid the fee. About an hour later, I got an email saying that I had been approved!!! Didnt have much doubt, but it is nice to know I finally have a place to lay my head when the home closing happens.
And I went out last night...not a date...just went out. Didnt turn out like I wanted to, but I am determined I am NOT going to stay at home on Saturday night!!!
Alissa, so glad that Bryan got home last night. And I am sure he was just as happy to see you as you were to see him!!!

NORMA-so glad you had such a good day yesterday-tell us about the apts-and details about "going out". Those of us who git the sack at 8pm have to live vicariously thru the rest of y'all, you know!!
I had a GREAT day yesterday-just can't beat girl time. LIZ, QUE and I took a rad trip, down I-35, to meet a newbie, in Waco. They also made plans to include SUSAN T, our TMB "cheerleader", to surprise her-I couldn't say anything, in here, yesterday, on the chance she might be lurking.I've "known" Susan for yrs-and we've been close-but have never met "flesh to flesh"-so she got a "Gina surprise". Hope SHE liked it, cuz Gina LOVED it!!!! Our new friend, Mischa, is only 5 weeks post RNY, and of course wide eyed and scared to death. I hope we didn't overwhelm her...who..us???..lol...If nothing else she now has an excellent local "connection"-in Susan...I laughed till I cried..several times. We went from Cracker barrel to SBX...then laughed all the way home..then came home and CRASHED...
Today...domestic goddess chores, then A's birthday dinner...more "peep time"--my fave thing--sure beats those domestic goddess chores, hands down!! Should have been rich....

We Can Do Hard Things
Here are the details on my apartment. Two bedroom, two bath with a single car attached garage, and with a nice size covered deck. I will be able to bring my deck furniture that I presently have. Kitchen is done in all white...cabinets, counter tops, and appliances. One appliance not included is the microwave. I am not sure I will go out and buy one, since I really dont use one all that much. At least the refrigerator does include an ice maker, but I wont be able to get my crushed ice...damn it!!! Also included is a full size washer & dryer. With the garage comes the automatic garage door opener. The amenities within the complex...it is a gated community (very important to me), a swimming pool and a very good fitness room. I do plan on using the fitness room alot. The other important amenities outside of the complex, about 5-7 miles from work...less travel time and less gas than I am presently driving. The street that it is on, has red lights to turn out on to the main street. The attached garage was the major selling feature on this complex along with the distance to the office.

Gina, sounds like you had a good time yesterday. Susan is a sweetie. I loved getting to meet her in person before she moved away. She is as awesome in person as on the TMB.
Norma, glad you know where you will live after the house sells. I'm sure that gives you peace of mind.
