All Aboard!!

Looks like we will be blessed once again with 100 degree heat. Remember Hydrate!  Hydrate!  Hydrate!  Have to try and get some folks in jail today.  Get to put the po-po hat on part of today and do some investigating other than code enforcement.  Some time I have to start packing for Galveston this weekend!

I am so tired of the oppressive heat already and its just the start of July.  We still have all of August and (lets face it) September before it will even start to think about cooling down.

I have more sewing to get done today.  Its been difficult to stay motivated as I've had two very needy kittycats begging for attention and taking the mental vacation to la-la land while just having them cuddle in my lap has been nice.

Time to get to it.

Starting my count down to vacation, one more month and its off to Hawaii.

Good morning. It is hot. Moving furniture down 3 floors was not fun yesterday, but it got done anyway. Thank heavens in a few weeks all we have to move is bed, dresser and hanging clothes.

Today I'm cleaning part of my living room. Got to get rid of cobwebs and dust.

I think we need a good tropical depression that brings us a few days of rain on the TX coast next week. No bad winds, just lots of soaking rain. We sure need it.

Have fun in Galveston. I'll pray the rain doesn't start until your weekend is done Don!

If I can recall the last time I was on Galveston was in 1981 when I was a summer hire for a drilling company.  Probably has changed quite a bit since then!!

I am also tired of all the heat.    Hopefully things have calmed down somewhat at my home.   Too much drama going on for me.   I had thought about leaving but had no where to go.   LOL  JK.   I am so ready for the summer to end although I know it has just begun.   Prayers going out for Gina, Meggie and Norma's job situation and house selling along with unspoken prayers for many.     Go out and make it a amazing day !!!   Stay hydrated too !!!

Good afternoon! I'm getting old for sure- riding the rougher slides yesterday -one that dropped me a story if felt like- did my back in. I couldn't move this morning- I hurt so bad. So I stayed home. Tomorrow and the rest of the week are going to be so bad since I didn't go to work yesterday either but oh well.

I've rested and taken a hot shower. I would love a hot tub right about now. A hot bath will have to do. I've got epsom salts that probably will help.

The AC went out at my sisters. Now, you have to know that the ho****er heater went out a few weeks ago and their ho****er heater went out and a few weeks before that they had a water leak in their foundation they had to rip part out for the plumber to fix. So, its not been a good summer for them! Its not really fixable because its 16 years old and they don't make the parts or the freon that goes in it. I sure hope they get a good loan to have it fixed. I hate it for them.
