All Aboard!!!
I hate to tell you, but it is Monday AGAIN!!! As one expression I saw many years ago said...Monday, a terrible waste of 1/7 of your life!!!
Yesterday, I had a major 'Shredding' party. Among normal shredding to be done, I did one 4" notebook of various papers. I think that one 4" notebook generated 3-4 bags of shred. My larger shredder is on its last leg, and the small personal shredder gets heated up after an hour of shredding. Needless to say, it took several hours to do that one notebook. Taking another notebook to work to shred as it is a commercial shredder.
I hate to tell you this, but did you notice that we are all getting OLDER?? And I dont consider myself that 'OLD' (58 this year), but I had another classmate to die over the weekend from a massive heart attack. We all need to start taking better care of ourselves. Please heed what your body is telling you. You never know when that one hour's doctors appt might just save your life.

Norma I am so sorry for your los. i cannot agree more with what you have said! A family friend who is a year younger than me is in intensive care with heart failure, pulmonary failure and now his kidneys have shut down. We are expecting a call at any time. He refused to take care of himself and refused to go to the doctor until it was too late and stopped to eat mexican food on his way to the ER!! So very sad.
Today is my Ken's birthday! I am so grateful to have him in my life! Just love him to bits!!

Norma, sorry about the loss of your classmate. Life is definitely precious and I treasure every day. After I came back home after my plastics, my 8 year old daughter told my mom she didn't think I was going to make it. The next day she peeked in on me when I was napping and told my mom I was dead. My poor baby!! I felt so guilty for putting her through that. Made me even more determined to continue taking care of myself and keeping a close eye on my health.

Hello Train!
This weekend was great fun but MAN it was hot...like 109 degrees hot. It felt like standing in a dry sauna and using a hair dryer. The are around you was oppressivly still and hot and then the wind was hot blowing on you. Pretty miserable. But I had a good time none the less. The outcome of the tourney was what I expected, the 2 fighters I thought would be in the finals were in the finals. We are friends with the guy who won but not SUPER close so I don't think we'll be pulled for entourage duty this next few months so my fall has opened up. YAY!
I have lots of sewing to get done this week. I have some comission work I need to finish up and get delivered. Its going to be busy busy. I now have 2 weekends open before I leave for Pennsylvania. Lots to do.

Good morning! Its Monday, but that's okay because I'm off work today. My family and I are going to NRH2O today. I haven't been there since 2000. I'm hoping my foot won't hurt too bad walking around the park. Chris is very excited because he's been wanting to go all summer. We were going to go to the new Hawaiian Falls since its just a few miles away but its more expensive and NRH2O is bigger from what I can tell.
Sorry I haven't been on the board. My mom, dad, and uncle arrived Friday and I've been visiting with them. We went to a Cats game Sat night. Other than being very hot, it was a great game. The stadium is nice and I had the best BBQ sandwhich from Coburns there. Yum.
Bryan left for NY yesterday and will return Sat. Not much else going on here.

Nothing special going on in my world today. Work and picking up the house is on my agenda today. Had a good weekend and hate that it is over, they seem to go fly by. I am off Friday which means this week will probably move slow but at least I will have a 3 day weekend to look forward too.

My world was shattered last night. PLEASE keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers. My heart is totally broken in two today. I am hurting so much for my son. Meggie....I love you sweetie and I am praying that your pain and suffering will all end with this upcoming surgery.
