Mel,
I will look up Eggface for sure, I can always use new ideas...
Laura- Body Fortress does it have Peanut Flour in it?
1divaatheart- What greek yogurt do you get cause ones I have seen are to high in sugar and then if I mix fruit in it hello I'm in ho****er for sure. My body can only handle 10g of sugar per setting. Including natural and all. like when I eat strawberries I can have 6 and thats it. 1 banana and if it's a large one I can't eat the whole thing.
Phyllis- does it have peanut flour in it?
If you read the ingreidients on a lot of things that higher in protein that like a few grams most of the time they have added peanut flour or peanut oil in it. Some companies have went to other types of protein. It's really hard to find products. For instance I went to order some Ohyeah bars. The same flavor and brand the original bars I could get two flavors but the good grab (something like that) I could only get the brownie one because it had peanut flour in it.
Please keep the ideas coming because I can't do peanuts as a snack nor the stuff with it in it... NEED my protein I am feeling it...

Becca, I love making things with Fage Greek yogurt like baked potatoes, chcken salad with pineapple and yiccam and spinach dip and cheesecake. I just read people put crystal light flavorings in it to make shakes with it and they make protein ice cream too. It has 20grms protein and very low carbs and 100calories. I also like hormel precooked bacon and Carbmaster yogurt for breakfast . I also cut back and now boil eggs to take them for my breakfast with a few berries for work days. If I only eat one I have the other one on the way home at night so I don't eat so much when I get home. Also Swiss cheese has 7 grms protein and low calories and low sodium. I like that for a snack. I also make small turkey meatballs which are high in protein and those would give you a good protein bang in a small amount.

if cheese isn't an issue for you, i love making baked cheese crisps. depending on size you make you can get a good 4-5 gms protein from one crisp.
i also start every day with a protein shake that has 30 gms. i get them at costco. premier shakes come in chocolate and vanilla. i only drink chocolate. i place them in the freezer for about 30 minutes and they become kinda slushy. during my immediate post op period when i really was trying to get as much protein in as possible, i mixed a small container of greek yogurt in with. gave me as much at 45-55 gms protein for one shake. kinda yummy too with some of the flavors you can mix in.
otherwise, i do meat. fish is my choice since it seems to be the easiest on the boss. tilapia, salmon, and barramundi all have good protein and cook well in many different ways so you're not always eating the same thing. chicken is my next choice.
snacks are the cheese crisps, greek yogurt, protein bars, and edamame. also, i use lunch meat roll ups (turkey, slice cheese, maybe some pickled peppers in the middle for taste and texture).
