Finally Friday !!!

All aboard!!!

Friday is finally here...that is how it is for a short work week!!!

Today means that unless my boss comes in for a very short period of time, I wont see him for two whole weeks.  He is on vacation beginning today and all of next week, and then I leave next Friday and the following week as my vacation!!!  Can we say stress free two weeks ?!?!

 Good morning Norma and anyone who follows.

This weekend is a huge big weekend for me.  We have Crown Tournament.  In the medieval group I participate in there is a big tournamet twice a year where the next King and Queen are selected.  It sounds really 'fun' but winning Crown is an ENORMOUS responsibility and essentially the SCA becomes everything you live and breathe for the next 9 months.  We are going and Clint will be fighting in the tournament.  He's not really of the skill level where he would really have a chance of winning but we are hoping for a good showing.  But we have several friends who are SERIOUS contenders and it makes for a very stressfull day.  Add that to the fact that its being held 6 hours in the middle of nowhwere west TX (we will be between Amarillo and the OK border) and expected to be 107 degrees and you have one heck of a weekend.

Today will be spent doing some last minute sewing on clothes for the weekend and making up a pasta salad (vinegar based/not mayo in this heat) to share at a little informal luncheon my friends are having tomorrow.

I know so many people, especially some on this board, have real serious stuff going on but if anyone could spare a happy thought our way for a good and safe weekend I would be incredibly grateful.  I know this medival thing is silly to most people and hard to understand but some prayers and positive vibes would be very appreciated!

my hat is off to all the moms out there! I have Teenie from Tuesday night till last nigh and boy am I ppoped!! I was cooking for the next few days and fixing stuff for the freezer, we cooked with her easybake oven, colored,played ball, water balloon fight, went to the movies, ran errands, got our toesies done, made homemade mixes for the easybake oven,wrappe dpresents , made birthday cards(Ken's b-day is Mon),tickled wrestled fell of the bed and having a ball!!! I need to go yo work to get some rest!

Including today I have to just get through the next 5 days and then I leave for Cleveland and I just have to get through! I can do this, I can do this, I can do this!!!!! To day I grateful for my baby grandgirl Teenie! She makes life right!!!

wow that does sound exhausting lol..... but thnks for the ideas! My neice is here and i love the water balloon idea lol. 

Go to Walgreens they have great not very expensive water stuff like water blasters and balls you hook up to a hose that they then become a sprinkler! They also have a great toy aisle as does dollat tree!

Good morning. Heading off to Aggieland for Ben to take scuba lessons and for me to pack up his apartment so he can get moved into the new one this month. I'll be glad to get it done and over with for another year. Last year I told him if he moved he better find some friends. Famous last words...I'm the one moving him. His dad is smart enough to be working in Pennsylvania and no where around this time. I will be glad to get away from climbing up to the 3 rd story. 2 stories is as high as we will have to go on the next one, and that is only then bedroom furniture.

Ugh, poor you I HATE moving and know I have to do it again soon (hopefully).  Hope this is Ben's last move while in college.
