Good morning everyone!!!

It is that middle of the week day...not too much more and it will be the weekend.

Update on my house.  Not sure exactly what is going on with the showing last Friday, and then the showing again on Saturday.  (Wife on Friday, wife & husband on Saturday)  But you never know when it will happen.

Oh, I guess ya'll remember the very 'ugly' offer that I got on my house a few weeks back.  Well, the same realtor showed it again yesterday.  Dont know if it was the same potential buyer, or a new potential buyer...but at least he knows my basic 'bottom line' price that I am willing to accept.

I havent had any more emails/phone calls regarding interviews when I am on vacation in July, but I am happy with the two firms that have contacted me so far.  Maybe I will have more contacts closer to the time that I am to be there.  I will be there in a month or so, and I so cant wait!!!

Good morning, NORMA and all! I wanted to jump aboard now, before I go to work, as it promises to be another busy/crazy day, and I may have to EARN my paycheck (sad-huh?) Not too much new on the home front.

Chris's ankle looks better-he kept it "RICE'd" all day yesterday, but then left the house, with friends, last night, after I went to bed, so he BETTER not complain of pain anymore-Nurse Mama now deems him HEALED! 

I have a busy weekend coming up-there's a special "party"for a bunch of Burleson High school alumni. I haven't seen some of these people in 35 years..some in 5 years, etc..either way I'm a bit nervous. I'm going with my sister, and I DO know some people pretty well, but..what to wear?...how to act?...yadda..yadda..yadda...the fat girl returns...

Sunday is Corbin's bday, but we're postponing his celebration, and going to a little tiny place outside Waco for my mom's family reunion. Her dad was one of 18 kids. There are none of the 18 left now, but LOTS of offspring. We do it for my mom, and my aunt.Don't know what to wear THERE either..lol..but it's not quite the "issue" Sat night is--and they don't care how I look or how I act-cuz most of them think I'm my grandmother or dead aunt anyway..

Happy Birthday Corbin!! Gina-no matter what you hear you are beautiful!! And not only that you're beautiful on the inside too. So just go and have fun!!
I've never been to a HS reunion nor will I probably because I switched HS's in my junior year after moving so never got to know the new crowd. Hope you have a great time!

ALISSA-his bday isn't until Sunday, but I'll tell him for you! Saturday will be people from a few different "classes"-but I think MY class will be the OLDEST...oh great!!!

 LOL Gina.....you made me laugh with your remark about your family thinking your your grandmother or dead aunt.   LOL   Too funny !!  I know you will look beautiful in whatever you wear to both of the events.   Have lots of fun at both of them.   Have a blessed day and don't work too hard.

VIVIAN...I don't mind them thinking I'm my Aunt Sandy--she was fabulous and beautiful...my mean MamMaw...hmmm...not so much...

 LOL  Well.....if they don't think it is you....we will pray hard that they think you are Aunt Sandy instead of MamMaw.

Good morning! It rained here overnight. Austin hasn't had rain in a long time so I'm sure they're happy. I hope its cooler today and not too humid. We're half-way through the week. I had a good time yesterday afternoon but the morning was talking about labor market analysis-BORING! Today we're covering stuff I know pretty well, so hopefully it will be an easy day.
Went to Saltgrass with Corina yesterday. That was fun.

I hope you get a buyer soon Norma!

Not much going on in my house this AM.   I have been up for almost 2 hours but just now getting on the computer.    I had to feed the cats ( they wouldn't leave me alone.....they think the minute they see me it is time for canned food LOL ).   I think I have all my furbabies spoiled or something like that.   LOL   Not much on the agenda today.    Tomorrow and friday I will be busy or somewhat so.   Friday I am going to give my new daughter in law some cooking lessons.   My son said she doesn't know how to cook.   Although she said she does.    I didn't touch that one.    Just told her that I would teach her how to cook some of my son's favorite dishes.    She was open to that idea.   LOL   Norma.....hope you get a offer from the couple who came and saw your house last weekend and hope it is a good one !!!  Also praying for one of those jobs to work out for you when you are on vacation.     Gina.....I know you will have a great weekend and find something to wear to those events.    Alissa.....hope your day goes by quickly and that your allergies behave themselves today.  Have a great day everyone.

Good morning TMB,

I am with Gina they are making me earn my pay this week.  Work is all I have on my agenda and it will be a long and stressful one. 

DH called the Vet yesterday to let her know the Valium was not working on the dog, she gave him some different pills to try and it WORKED.  The dog did not so much as bark last night he is still in a dazed state, I guess now I can look into repairing the house.
