It is Friday Eve!!!
All aboard...it is the Friday Eve Express!!!
Last night when I got home, I started hearing strange noises coming from my bathroom. At that time couldnt tell if it was coming from the fan or the vent. It is now coming from the fan...anywho, my initial diagnosis is that it is a bird in the room vent. I dont have any trees that hang over my house, so dont really think it is a squirrel or other type varmit...but a bird.
Oh, and on top of this, the house is being shown this morning. So, all I can hope for is that the 'bird' is not actively chirping when they are in the house.
Other than that, just the same thing...different day...WORK!!!

Good morning! I've been up since 4am though- and didn't sleep well- I kept waking every hour or so. I should have taken my sleeping pill but I was sleepy so I opted to fall asleep on my own. Oh well. It will be a Zip Fizz sort of day!
I'm ready to go home! One more night at the hotel. We had a fun party last night in our hotel room. We have a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen (all the rooms here have kitchens) so my roommate cooked a big spaghetti dinner. Another person played the guitar and we had fun.

Norma, I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago I kept hearing a noise and finally figured out it was a bird, it would stop chirping when I got close so was having a hard time finding it, I turned around in the kitchen and freaked me out when I seen it sitting in the stack of coffee filters. I have a bad habit of leaving the back door open for the dogs and he flew in, I was able to use the pool net and got him at.
Work is what is on the agenda and it will be another busy day, I found an issue last week on a project we were not made aware of which goes in this weekend so now we are doing a lot of unplanned testing and meetings. I have worked late every day this week and will most likely work this weekend so I can get caught up.

The critter aka bird was still there this morning. I have called a company, in addition to calling Orkin (they are contacting their wildlife division) to come and look at the issue. Hopefully, someone will be able to come this afternoon or at the latest tomorrow.

I have work on my agenda too - everyone...........I know that is a shock. I have decided that I am going to marry my jobs.........once again..........its safer and I feel more loved and appreciated there than with SOME men that are out there...
Funny story Norma !! I can recall a time when I was in my FIRST apt back in like 2005ish...
I grew up sorta in this complex and so the manager at the time knew me when I was a teenager and NOW I was out on my own...........and I knew her and was very comfortable with her....
Anyway - I had been out grocery shopping and at the time lived on the 2nd story of the apartment comlex in Bethany, Oklahoma..........I had left my door open as I was making multiple trips from car to apartment to bring in the groceries and aparently one of the "stray - mamma cats" went in and made her "nesting" in my bedroom closet.
Later on that evening around 9 or so - I heard this "me ow - me ow....very tiny tiny voice screeching meow meow..........much to my surprise - I found a momma and her 4 or 5 baby kitties in my closet on my doll crib which had an old blanket or quilt thrown on top of it and one of the babies had slid down the side of it.........for all I knew - they may have been 2-3 days old by then.......anyway -.........I was now the mother hen of a momma and her 3 kittens...
Not ever having been on my own - I called the manager the next day and advised her that she needed to get someone over there to get their cat(s).........I didn't know about strays, etc. etc - I thought itwas the managers problem !! lol her reply" this would only happen to "you" !! lol
So - I took mamma and babies and the "nest" down to the laundry facility and placed them in front of the dryers..........much to my surprise - when I got home from work the next day - they were gone.......I presume another family of choice took them in !!
Only did I know that 2 months later - I would find out I was pregnant with my own "litter " !! lol Just kidding...

Not much going on at my house this AM. I woke up early ( 2:30 AM ) and was awake for a hour or so before finally falling back to sleep. UGH I hate nights like that. Anyway I woke up later than usual with a splitting headache. Hate those too. LOL Anyway not much on my agenda today so far. I need to clean my house but that isn't fun so I have no idea what I will do today. Life is boring sometimes. LOL Oh well.....prayers going out for my friend Cathy who is going in for plastics at noon today. I am jealous !!! LOL Have a wonderful day....stay hydrated and make it a great day !!!

Its going to be a hot one today. I'm doing as much as I can to stay hydrated. My kidneys are starting to feel like they are going to float away.
Dance class last night was WONDERFUL! I think I may have found a dance home. I worked with 2 other instructors over the last year and it didn't feel right but this feels great.
I have friends coming over on Saturday for a sewing day and dinner. My kitchen table has become a pile of random stuff so today my goal is to get it completely cleaned off and ready for company.

Good morning!! Sounds like we could have had a "insomniac's convention" last night. I, too, was waking up every hour or so--and having wild dreams in between--sure could use a nap NOW--like THAT'S going to happen!! Another day of chaotic craziness, at work, then am determined to catch up with LIZ and QUE this afternoon, cuz my "naturally red" hair is badly in need of a root job...
Hope everyone has a fun, productive day, whether you are napping/catching wayward birds/hanging out/whatever-so glad tomorrow is Friday!!!
