Woo hoo for the Mavs. I was up late last night but no****ching the game. I took a nap yesterday afternoon and then I was wide awake at bedtime. Hate it when that happens. lol. I'm headed to Austin in 2 hours for 3 days of meetings. I'm all packed except the last minute stuff.

I did okay with food choices this weekend and I walked alot more than I am used to and my foot did okay. So that's good.

Make it a great day!

Not much going on here.  Yesterday was a 'lazy' day...didnt do much of anything.

Yes, the Mavs did great last night...sorry, I didn****ch ALL the game, but did get in the last quarter.  The only thing that I can recall even coming close to that feeling is when the Braves won the World Series.

Hopefully the home showings will pick up soon.  I did exchange some emails with my realtor yesterday, and she did make the comment that home showings have been 'dead' overall lately.  Not sure if it might be the severe 'heat' that has really hit lately that is keeping people away.  Right now we are going on about two weeks of 90+ temps.  Maybe once people get used to the temps, showings will probably pick up.  At least that is what I keep telling myself.  Keeping myself not stressed over this situation is a major accomplishment.

Go out and make it a great day!!!

Praying for you Norma that the house will sell really soon.    Summer hasn't really began good yet.  Maybe people are in the "deciding to move" mode still.    Hopefully the showings will pick up and someone will fall in love with your home and give you a fantastic offer.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Watched maybe the last five minutes of the game.  Not a big fan of basketball.  Was always too slow, too short and could not jump high enough to play well so never grew an apprciation for the game.

Weekend was good except for figuring out that there is a partial blockage in my sprinkler system that is not allowing it to do what it is supposed to do.  Explains the yellow grass in my front yard.

Back to fighting crime by fighting grime today.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

 Morning Alissa and TMB,

I am excited about the Mavs winning that championship game last night.    I don't even like basket ball but I watched the entire game and NO my son and husband was not in the room watching it.   LOL   I had never watched a basketball game before the other night when I was at son#2's apartment.   He loves all sports and he wanted me to watch it with him.   So I did and he explained a little about basketball to me.    Trust me....I didn't get as excited as I am sure he did over the game.    I talked to several of my SG members yesterday.   I believe 2 or 3 about the New Orleans Conference coming up and about how to get back on track.    Prayers going up for the one wanting to lose a re-gain.    It takes lots of work getting those off.    My weekend was OK.    I did well with eating this weekend other than the beef brisket had way too much sodium and I am retaining fluids this AM.    Have a great day.

Thank you Vivian for your words of encouragement.

Just to let you know, Georgia school systems are generally out by Memorial Day which I know is totally different than Texas school systems.  So by now, most people have been on at least a one week vacation.  This was quite evident this morning by the traffic.  It took me over 45 minutes to get to work this morning, when it has been taking 30 minutes for these past two weeks.

AND, this week is getting off to a GOOD start!!!  An agent called me this morning about 1030 to show my house between 1130am and 1230pm today.  So things in that respect are looking UP!!  Thankfully I did do my 'get the house ready to show' routine this morning, including squeeging the shower (LOL).  The one day that I did not do it back in the winter, someone wanted to show my house, so I learned my lesson about that several months ago.

Thank you all for your continued prayers for me.

Good morning,

Had a good weekend, went to the Dallas Support Group meeting, made new friends and tired Ethiopian food for the 1st time.  Sunday went to my sisters In Quinlan for cook out and hanging out around the pool.

Work and trip to the grocery store is all that I have on my agenda today,  I have back to back meetings this morning so knock looking forward to logging on this morning, but have bills to pay.

Hope everyone has a great day!
