**GINA CAR ACCIDENT***
I just received word from Gina's son Corbin that she was side swiped by an 18 wheeler while out doing her 'rounds' and seeing patients this morning. Corbin was able to go get her and bring her home but she is in the usual 'wreck pain', stff sore, etc and im sure it will be worse tomorrow. I EXPECT all of you to swing chickens, say prayers etc for her safe recovery as she drives a chevy colbolt for all her house calls and not the explorer. With that in mind.. i do mean ALL OF U, keep the personal crap personal. NO high school crap. This is one of our own who has helped many during her 9 years as a post op.
If you have something to say about the normal girls, mean girls, high school crap statement *I* made, direct them to ME and not gina. I wil keep you posted as i have more info.
Please believe me when i say that I am not kidding... keep the crappy comment to yourself or direct them to me privately as this is NOT the time.

GINA - feel better soon! I hope you'll go get checked out even if you think you're not hurt! Always better safe than sorry (and you know that's what you'd tell anyone else!)

Liz, please make sure someone or YOU take her to the doctor to get checked out, getting hit by an 18 wheeler is a big hit and she may feel fine now but she might not be feeling fine in a few hours!! Please continue to update us, if there is anything that we can do please let us know.

thank you all very much. I just left Gina's home, where she is resting. Better livig thru chemistry lol. The 18wheeler never even hi**** brake, just kept on going. He side swiped her in her small car, and its drivable, but missing the left side mirror and there are HUGE black marks on both doors on the drivers side as well as both doors are dented.
I tried to get her to let me take her to the doc.. but yall mrs stubborn. She will kill me for telling this but it boils down to her new insurance kicks in... get this. FRIDAY! Im going to encourage her to talk to her auto isurance as when i had a wreck last month, although i had health insurance, i was able to file the co pays etc thru the auto insurance as well. Right now, she was a lil uhhh in happy land to have that conversation. Also,I did leave her with her son Chris (Corbin was at work) and yall know me, I got the mommy finger to Chris then called Corbin when i left. Im sure TRACEY will be home from school shortly and that will be her first stop after picking up baby Blake.

If she has uninsured / underinsured motorists coverage THAT will cover her medical expenses, as well as Personal Injury Protection if she has that. Really, she should be seen especially with the trouble she has with her back already.
Liz....sorry I don't come here much anymore. PLEASE tell Gina to check her car insurance policy and see if she has PIP ( personal injury protection ). Hope someone got that jerks license number and calls the police or better yet the company that own's that 18 wheeler. I believe it is against the law to do hit and run no matter how big the truck is. Prayers being said for Gina. Tell her that I am so sorry that this happened to her and I pray that she will be OK. She does need to be checked out. Thanks for letting us know about this. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated on her condition. Miss you guys !!!

OH MY GOODNESS. I just got onto OH too - I didn't get on much on the net at all yesterday - was just exhausted...........didn't go to work last night and fell asleep at 7pm in the living room chair.....moved to bed at 1030 and slept until 7am this am........
Did she get any information on the truck - business name, file a hit and run accident - etc?
they can track this information down if anyone was able to obtain a license plate number, etc....I'm sure you all know that..... SAVE SAVE SAVE EVERYTHING..............EVERY PIC AND EVERY DETAIL to turn in to ANY INSURANCE COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT AND WHERE THE COVERAGE IS........This is my line of work...............subrogation can come later...............If she goes to the ER - no payment is necessary right now anyway.......they will bill her later if needed.........I'm the master at ER visits too - ya all...........
