Morning all! My morning started off both good and bad, but I chose the direction I wanted to take. Got the dishes done, kitchen cleaned up, Natalie fed, green beans cooked (her second real food) and got a 20 min walk in. The walk really helped clear my head and dissipate the frustration and anger I started with. Normal husband stuff, or at least normal here, but I chose to not let it rule my day.
My toe is doing better, and I was able to comfortably walk to the library/coffee shop yesterday. I'll probably do another walk this afternoon since it's still going to be beautiful out. My in-laws are coming over for dinner tomorrow and I've got to figure out what we're going to have. Pizza comes to mind (especially if they want to pay). Then Saturday Natalie and I are going to the chiro, then we're having some girl time. Jeff is getting some overtime in to help get his office ready to move. They will be moving over to the Tollway/George Bush area so next year we will be moving again. Sigh.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to cool an office? Here's the situation, we've got our office set up with all of our computers (my 2 work ones, 1 personal, Jeff's laptop, and server). We've got a ceiling fan that runs all the time, a floor fan and heat blocking curtains up. It still gets hot in here in the afternoon and I'm worried it's going to be too hot for Natalie (and me) as the summer comes. I thought about a portable AC unit, but I'm not sure we can run it on the same circuit that all the computers are on, and I'm not having a lot of luck googling answers. So, if any of you are handy or have handy husbands, can you pick their brains?
