Could have my Revision by the end of June

I  met with Dr. Terry Scarborough this past Friday.   Really liked him a lot. 
I  have to do three months of Nutritional classes, have a psych evaluation, some blood work and be scoped  to see if my band has caused any problems.  If all goes well I should be having surgery in mid June.  I am praying Federal Blue Cross will approve me very soon. 
I've alreay taken my first class so... just two more to go.  
When I went in to see him I was under the impression that I only had 1 cc of fluid in my band.... He pulled out almost 7 ccs.... No wonder I felt like I was chocking everytime I ate someting solid.

 Congrats Cindy on your decision to have a revision.   I wish you lots and lots of luck in your new journey.    Glad that the doc got your band unfilled for you and now maybe you will feel better.

Thank  you so much Vivian.  I am so excited about the future.  After my visit with this Dr my husband wanted to stop at a resturant on the way home to get a bit to eat.  At first I was not going to get anything but a glass of milk to put my protein mix in.... then I decided to try something... I ordered the one thing that I LOVE and could not eat at all since having my first surgery...... I ordered a side of broccoli.... I chew chew chewed and it was the best brocoli I have ever eaten...LOL... It was so nice to get solid food down again.  Since friday adn the unfill  I have lost 2 pounds.  I am able to eat healthy food again and not rely on "slider foods"  for "nutrition"

Best thing I ever did was revise from my lapband to VSG.  I know EXACTLY how you feel.  Best of luck Cindy!!!

Thank you so much Beth.  I am so excited about getting back on track and eating healthy food again.  The band would not let me do that without pureeing everything first.....
 I noticed you are in Frisco, TX.   My Daughter and I Went their Last yr to see a Rascal Flatts concert and fell in love with Frisco.   My husband wants to retire there...LOL

You will be shocked at how different things will be without the band.  Glad you enjoyed our "little" berg here.  Sometimes referred to, by me, as suburbia H*LL.  LOL

Girl I cannot believe you moved again( though I cannot blame you)!  I love me some Fort Worth and would live there if I could.  Do you ever get together with the old group?  Would love to meetup sometime!!!
