Houston Bariatric Surgeons??????

Hi all,

I am new and wanting to know if anyone else has used or would recommend a Bariatric surgeon in the Houston area? I am looking into the gastric sleeve but would like to find a good yet resonably priced surgeon. Thanks for your help!

I have met him, although I didn't use him but he comes highly recommended by those who did!  Dr. Matthew St. Laurent- he has a great aftercare program and I hear his office staff is great! 

Dr.Robrt Marvin did my  band to RNY revision  and have had no problems. A friend had Dr. Eric Wilson for RNY . Don't know if either do the sleeve.  Good Luck!

I will be having revision from Lap band to Gastric Sleeve.  I have research and met with two Drs. in Houston.  I will be using Terry Scarbourgh.  I met with him this past Friday and he was wonderful.. So was his staff.  I have researched Both of the Davis'.   I would have used them but have gotten nothing but the run around by his staff... I sent them all of my medical information.  When I called and asked that it all be returned to me or destroyed  the person I was talking to laughed at me.  I guess they didn't like the fact that I had chosen a differnt Dr.... That being said....The Davis staff may be lacking but I have heard nothing but positve things about them. 

I love Dr Speigel. He and his nutritionists are excellent and most of his staff have had various procedures so there are tons of folks to get advice from.

They have recently started their own line of food that is high in protein but fret not, you don't have to be one of his patients to use his store, you can either go to the office on West Alabama or order online. 

Oh, and his staff took care of all the insurance crap and rejections and I never had to do anything but show up and enjoy 6 weeks off.

I used Dr. Turnquest at Northwest Medical Center. Absolutely LOVE him and would recommend him to anyone! His staff is okay, but the staff at hospital is outstanding! I had a great experience.

Northwest Medical Center is off of 1960 & 45 and Dr. Turnquest's office is off of 1960 & Red Oak, right behind the hospital.
