GOOD MORNING! Its Ash Wednesday- beginning of lent. Do you give anything up?

ALL ABOARD!

Good morning.  I'm not Catholic and I didn't give anything up for Lent.  I know lots of other religions have made this a more common thing to do, but I just never have.  I think it's a good thing to do.

I have lots of paperwork to keep me busy today.  I'm hoping to make some good progress the next 2 days.  I got several things finished yesterday.  I may have to work one day during Spring Break in order to feel "caught up".  Yuck, but better than feeling behind and not catching up.

I think I'll get a pedicure after work today.  I've done the last few myself.  It's time to get a pro to do it!

Well, its my last day in San Angelo. I must say its been nice to drive across town in less than 20 minutes. And, the Holiday Inn Express is a very nice hotel. I'm most impressed. I'll def stay here again when I have to come back. My flight doesn't leave until 6:20pm so its a long day for me.

I went to the mall to walk last night. I was suprised at how many big department stores they had. I got a wooden plaque that says- I'd love to help but I've misplaced my wand. I am going to hang that at work. Gina- I thought of you when I saw the plaque!

So accident/injury news. I went to Care Now Sunday because I was in so much pain from the car accident. The doctor took lots of x-rays but then said they looked okay. Well the radiologist took a look Monday and they called me to say that he found a suspicious spot on my humerus and that I should get an MRI. So I have to go by there tomorrow and get some paperwork. Then I'll have to see my PCP I'm sure. I doubt the MRI will happen before I leave for PA. I don't know what to do exactly. Any ideas nurse friends?

After council meeting last night would like to give up work but can't that.  One of the council members commented that he had gotten a few complaints about some of my letters going to dead people.  The first registered letters have to go to the last person listed on the tax rolls as being the owner.  If they are living or dead I don't know.  I have to follow the law.  So I guess now my job description says "fight crime by fighting crime and write letters to dead people"!  Got to love small town rumor mill male bovine gastrointestinal tract byproduct!  (AKA: BS)  <<<<  I'm faking it trying to make it today!

I am giving up my bad attitude about exercise! Going to exercise everyday and do my 10000 steps. Already been on the bike this morning so I guess I better get moving so I can get my steps in!

Morning all!  I don't give anything up for Lent, however in my quest to improve my life I'm thinking of making some changes that would mean giving up some things.

Today is going to be a busy day, I'm listening to a conf call right now, need to get my car in to the shop for brakes and window tinting and may need to run Natalie up to the doc.  Busy, busy, busy.  Looking forward to the 5K this weekend, and the weather looks like it's going to be wonderful!
