Monday WLS Express...Hop on the Train

Good morning TX OH message board train riders...hope you're ready for a good week ahead!

I have so much paperwork and other work to get done this week I feel that I'm "drowning" in paperwork.  I'll just keep plugging and get it all done.

Hoping to make it to 2 co-workers daughters basketball game tonight to see them play each other.

Spring Break is getting closer...less than 2 weeks...woohoo!

Good morning! Glad you started the train. I got to sleep in because I'm having another lumbar injection. The doctor likes to do them in 2's. So I'm resting as long as possible so I don't get hungry. So far not working. I can go some mornings without feeling hungry till 10am, and last monday I wasn't hungry. But, today I'm hungry. Oh well. Then a day of laying on the heating pad is to follow. I just hope and pray this one works. I honestly don't know what I'll do if it doesn't. I am at my wits end with the pain. Some days I"m barely holding on.

Quick trip east to the bank then reverse flow and go back west towards work.  Then it is another day of "fighting crime by fighting grime"!  Say a prayer, cross various body parts, swing critters etc that Norma sells her house soon.  Between trying to sell her house and tax season she is really getting into a funk.

Prayers said for Norma's house to sell. I'm sure the long distance thing is getting old for the both of you!

Good morning all! Had a restful weekend here-ready to tackle the week ahead..I think...Could use another day at home, but that ain't-a-happenin'!!

I just heard lots of thunder, and the lights flickered. I think that was God reminding I was lucky to be as healthy as I am and to quit *****ing about thinking about having to get finishing getting dressed and go to work. Compared to my patients and their loved ones/caregivers, I TRULY have no problems...but..when I'm sitting here, by himself, I can think of all kinds of aches and pains, to keep me on this couch..lol...

ALISSA-lumbar injections? Guess I'm out of the loop-thought it was  your foot/toes that hurt?? Whatever it's for-hope it works for you

DON-crossing fingers/toes/eyes for NORMA.  I believe she posted, the other day, that there was alot more showings" lately, and that she had dropped the price. I know squat about real estate, but those things SOUND good to me (I watch all those "Sell this House" shows on TV-makes mme a mini expert, ya know!)

KARLA-ok-if friends playing on opposite teams, where YOU gonna sit??? I used to have that problem when Burleson and Joshua would play Burleson's Homecoming. I graduated from Burleson, but my boys were on the Joshua team. I threatened to go just sit in the middle of the field.

Gina it is foot pain- I have nerve damage in my foot so they are trying to block it. I had round 1 last Monday and today is round 2. He likes to do 2. Hopefully it will work.

Yes, I have had a few more showings since I lowered the price, but this past weekend came and went and I only had one showing.  It was to a lady from New Jersey (3rd time for her to see the house).  She has decided to make a low offer on the same floor plan house down the street.  Between my new price and their price, there is about $15K difference.  The weather here was gorgeous this past weekend which is much more conducive to showing a house than stormy rainy weather.  And I only got one repeat showing that is going elsewhere.

Between the house issue this weekend, and working 95-100 hours in a two week period, and just plain good old-fashion tired...this has just put me in a funk...it is like what do I have to do to get my house shown (and hopefully a contract), so that I can get moved to Texas...being away from Don is really getting to me.  We have been doing the long distance thing for 1.5 years and I am so ready to be there.

So hopefully you know now of why I am in such a funk...

Riding the train this morning. I have a back ache from HELL! I worked on the kitchen all weekend and I think I overiidid it. Really sore back. I got some otc anti inflammatories and they seem to be working.
