Hump Day Iron A** Express - Westbound
Alas my visit to Red's must end. 
After breakfast and getting the house back in order I have to board the Iron A** Express and start toward home. I will however be going a few miles out of the way to get a "cup of crack" from our favorite barista before heading out. May make a stop in Vicksburg or Shreveport to make offerings to the gaming gods.

Good morning. Have a safe trip back to Texas Don. That's a long drive. I have some step-relatives near Washington, GA and it's a far piece from East Texas. Good luck at the casino.
I have lots to keep me busy at work, as a matter of fact I'm drowning in paperwork, but will eventually get through it all.
Have to do a little cooking when I get home today.

Have a safe trip back Don. Keep the Starbucks flowing and you'll be home in no time. I'm sure the trip home will seem much longer-they always do. lol.
I'm glad I'm staying in a hotel that has a living room with a full sized couch because the bed is SO hard. I slept in bed for 3 hours and I woke in the middle of the night and could barely move because my back was spasming. So, I moved to the couch which was better. That's probably my least favorite part about traveling- hotel beds. Ate at Threadgills last night with a good friend. Tonight some coworkers are going to Carrabas. I've never been there so I have no idea if they'll have healthy choices. I'm sure i'll find something.

too bad you dont like fish.. Carrabas does a lovely tilapia. Im sure you will find something that will work for you there. Its Italian so beware of all the pasta and they immediately plop down a bread basket!

GF checking in to give an update on Don's road trip heading home...
When he was leaving my house and wanting a 'cup of crack'...he local Starbucks were at full capacity, didnt want to wait...so, he didnt get his first cup of crac****il he got to Anniston, AL (west Alabama on I-20). Yes, there are several in between, but he didnt want to get to far from major highway. But, he has been loading up on them ever since...Tuscaloosa, Clinton, Rushton, etc...his last one will probably be in Tyler.
On the trip home today, he found out that his Mom is headed to Tomball early tomorrow morning. So, he wont be able to give offerings to the gaming gods on the way home...as he will need to pickup 'fur child' (Bridgett) tonight. Oh well, another day...
Just for the record, in case you didnt realize it, we are both getting tired of this long distance 'thing', and are so ready for me to get this house SOLD, and moved on over to Texas. In fact, it cant come soon enough. With that said, I AM already missing him.
