Polar Express Thursday

It's cold...feels like the North Pole or will by tonight here anyway.  This is definitely not the norm for The Big Thicket in Deep East Texas.

It's in the mid 20's now and snow/ice/sleet is headed our way and even on the radar now.  I figure school will get out early today and we won't have it tomorrow.  Maybe I should just go in my jammies...I won't look any different than the folks here at our local Walmart!  I actually saw a girl in her pajama pants at a nail salon yesterday.  You would think if she cared how her nails/feet looked she might have bothered to get dressed!

Lots of work to do in a short time today at work, then home to do nothing but keep warm.

Will be headed to work shortly. Lots of layers and galoshes going on. Don't like snow days, have gained 5lbs. Must get back o basics and to the stoe so I can get some fresh fruits and veggies!!!

Off today and need to make a major supply run.  Fur child would not be happy if she ran out of food.  Need to wash a load of whites so I'll have clean long johns!

Work and staying warm is on the agenda today.  I hope they are done with the rolling black outs.  Power went out twice yesterday and of course once right when it was time to call into a meeting but with no access to the network it kept me from multi tasking.

 Major case of Cabin Fever!  We didn't experience black outs yesterday in my neighborhood but I am crossing my fingers that it won't happen today.  This is the 3rd day to cancel school.  Already know when 2 days will be made up but will wait the the other announcement.  I am hoping that the state will give a waiver since so many school districts were affected.
I am getting out today to buy a few necessities.  Hope my little Bug will do well on the roads!
