Gee Willy Wonka!! It's COLD!! 
Guess that is why the train is late this morning. So far just rain but likely hoping against hope that is all we see. Not a big fan of driving on ice. Speaking of which thought I would get by not having to go to work but due to a DPS audit tying up my Chief and Sgt my plans have changed. 
Need some computer time so may not be all that bad.
Norma happy this morning. Made the majority of her drive to work without having to stop for more than just a couple of traffic control devices.

It is cold and sleeting here in Mesquite this morning. All the schools in the area are closed. I work from home so I don't have to drive in it but I also don't have the excuse that the roads are bad and can't get in.

Good morning! I brought my computer home in case I want to work from home but I don't have to. We're all paid to stay home and do nothing on a snow day. 
I fell asleep on the couch so I wasn't awakened by the wind/storms/sleet on the windows like Bryan was at 3am. Poor Snickers had to go outside for a little bit but now he's back in. Bryan went to work. He was on his way when he got the email that they could work from home. So he will come home hopefully by noon.
I can't remember when we've had 3 days of below freezing weather, but that's whats in the forecast. Going to work-if we go- will be COLD in the morning. Our back door barely opens because of a snow drift.
