Question about Houston WLS Drs

Cindy do you have a list of surgeon's that you can list, it may help us to know and we can tell you of the good and bad we've heard/seen with each.

I'd recommend my surgeon, he is a no non-sense guy though many people do not like him because he is very strick in his expections of his patients.

I have decided to do a consult with Dr. Terry Scarbourgh.  My insurance considers him the best choice.  I have heard nothing but wonderful things about him.   I contacted The Davis Clinic this week and was not impressed in the least with his staff.  When they say they will return your call by the end of the day..... I think they mean the end of the week.  We will see.... I have to depend on what my insurance will pay.  I wish I could look into Drs.  in La... they won't cover anything out of TEXAS.

I used Dr. Garth Davis and he is an excellent surgeon and I have had zero problems and still at my goal weight at 2 1/2 years out.  But his office staff.......  well they were terrible when I had  my surgery and they are the reason I see my PCP for my annual follow-up labwork.  I would go back to Dr. Garth if I had a medical problem with my pouch but so far I haven't had to.  Dr. Garth answers emails quicker than his staff returns phone calls......
