I am waiting on insurance approval for my WLS (bypass) and i have a herniated disc and the neuro dr. is wanting to do spinal injestions on my back. So is this gonna be a problem if i get my approval and have my surgery soon. I will be put under whle they do the injestions so that i am very still since they will be injecting into my spine. Just wanting to know if anybody esle has ever had this problem.......Thanks and God Bless

I am not a nurse or doctor nor do I play on on tv! I do not think that would hamper your surgery. You are under such a short amount of time for the injection as it is. However, it might make your wls recovery easier since you also will not be dealing with as much back pain! Be sure and ask both your doctors, they will know for sure!!
