Graduating from soft food next week
I need some help from those of you who have gone before me. Now that I'm about ready to graduate from soft food, I am trying to figure out how to get my meals in during the day.
If there are any teachers on this forum, how do you go about your days, mealwise? I'd love to see a sample of what your day looks like, as far as getting in your water and meals.
Right now, I'm struggling with remembering not to drink right before or after meals. Seems like I'm working with students, drinking my water...then all of a sudden, it's lunch time!
Thanks.

I work for a school too, but not as a teacher. I'm a diagnostician so I'm not on a strict schedule unless it's a day full of ARD meetings.
My best advice is to set an alarm if you need to to remind you to drink. I started out on a "drinking schedule" and get in 32 oz. (24 of those water) before I go to work in the mornings. 8 oz. of that is coffee because I make a protein latte to start each and every morning. By lunch I have in at least 64 oz. of liquids if not 80 oz. I've done that for 5 years now. I have never had to worry about being dehydrated. I have something to drink all morning long. Take a water bottle wherever you go. After lunch I have 2-3 drinks between lunch and dinner, and usually not much liquid after dinner. I keep a glass of water by the bed at night and drink if i wake up. It's just a habit you have to get into or you'll be forever fighting it. Add crystal light type powders to water, drink hot tea, decaf coffee, whatever it takes to get the liquids down. Full caffeine coffee and soda's don't count.
