Have YOU had a reversal of RNY bypass??? I will be!

I'd like to hear from ANYONE out there whos undergone a complete reversal of their RNY bypass surgery. I'm about 5 yrs out and have had numerous difficulties since about a year and a half out. I've had numerous ulcers and underwent 2(!) major surgeries for hernia/twisted bowel. I've had issues with malnourishment. I thought these issues were rare but I've been hit hard! My surgeon even though is very competent has only done 5-6 of these complete reversals because of the rarity. I guess many out there would rather put up with these unfortunate issues and be twig-thin rather then risk being overweight again. I however have chosen just to be "normal" again. I'm scheduled for surgery on the 25th of this month and I'm scared to death of course. So, if you've been down this road I'd love to hear your story and maybe you could alleviate some of my fears on what to expect before and after surgery. Thanks so much.

Sorry you are going through this.  I haven't had any problems, thankfully.  Kim from this board had a reversal hopefully she'll chime in.
