Wacky Wednesday WLS Express
Good morning! My trip to Wichita Falls went well. The drive is pretty easy. The only traffic I got into of course was in FW. I don't know what it is about 35 south through FW but it doesn't matter what time of day, you're going to sit a while. Its crazy. I was actually suprised WF was as big as it was. Had no idea.

Lets see.........I've teased some of you all enough with various postings around.
Here is the scoop...
I'm gonna really miss you all on NYE.........but last sunday on my way home from Oklahoma - I received a text from a guy that I knew in High School. He was 2 yrs older than me and back then........me talking to a guy was just out of the question. He was one of the Basketball players and very good player at that too if my memory serves me correctly which it does !! - I guess we "connected" more than I thought this past summer at the school reunion in ND.
He said he wanted to talk to me more, but the days weren't long enough and he had to head back to Minneapolis the next day which really sucked. We ended up being each others stand in dates for the weekend so to speak - I never gave it a second thought.....lol We talked a little about the possibilities of him having WLS which he had started to look into and I think that may be where we connected - but he's afraid with his job demands that he couldn't do it. I've shared the OH site with him and will continue to do so for more information - on that.
HE is coming to Dallas NYE to take me out !! I'm soooo nervous, excited, anxious and just plan scared to death.....I don't have a thing to wear - I've decided that I'll wear my fail safe BLACK jeans and my pink turtleneck sweater.
We've been doing alot of texting lately - probably more so than me getting much work done........I"m just sooooooo giddy......I feel like a 15 yr old - well - I can't say that because at 15 - I could have cared less .....my chances of a b/f was slim to nill and I didn't talk guys at all -
He is a CEO of a company in Minneapolis, MN and is coming down to take me out specifically for NYE. I think hes coming down for other reasons - but he says no...........He plans on seeing his brother in Lawton for 1 day who is home for a couple of weeks from Iraq and then spending time with ME all weekend.
I've just learned this morning his flight this morning was postposed to tomorrow - and tomorrow is the day he had planned for his brother. He is taking me to Austin Ranch in Grapevine and will be staying at the Hilton next to it from what he tells me. He thinks that he is going to have his hands full with ME because my plans - first NYE out on the town, planning on missing work this weekend if need be... his reponse - yep I'm ready for some fun with HIM !! Told me to bring my overnight bag for jail time !! lol OMG... I turned so beet red !!
Amanda is NOT a happy camper, but I told her to plan on going out as we had planned as I'm sure she would be welcomed with open arms - but shes afraid that I won't be with .....maybe not !! lol

As for Amanda...she is a grown up and doesn't need to rely on YOU to have fun on NYE. She is definitely welcome to come hang out with the gang. Don't let her make you feel bad- growing up means you put others needs in front of yours and this includes your MOTHER'S! Go and have a good time! She WILL be welcomed with open arms!

Thanks T - Thats what I told her and told her and told her.....Hopefully she won't go home and hang out at home like I did for YEARS because of my weight issue..
NYE was difficult and still is for me...I always ducked out of parties about 11 or so just so I didn't have to watch couples kiss at midnight...that hurts............HOPEFULLY I'll be kissing someone this year....someone whom I'd never thougth of ever dating...........Hopefully this won't be the only time we see each other............:)
