Merry Christmas Eve!

My lunch with coworkers went fine. I ordered the chicken salad and ate about half of it, took the rest home for my lunch today. No one ordered dessert so I wasn't tempted.

Dinner last night was my leftover Greek salad from the day before. It was a little soggy but still tasted good.

Tonight we go to my mother's house for finger foods and opening presents. There will be boiled shrimp, pigs in a blanket, chips and dips, candy, cookies, and other sweets. I really do okay at this dinner because I spend most of my time making sure the little kids get something to eat without spilling everywhere.

We will have a brand-new baby boy there tonight - new as in they are coming home from the hospital today! This is my niece Amanda's first baby. I don't think she even knows how to put a diaper on.

I hope everyone has a happy holiday.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Sounds like your journey is going great Lynne.  Have a good time at your mom's with the new baby.  That should be sweet to get to hold a newborn.
