Hormonal dump?
How long does this "hormonal dump" last?
I know this time of year causes a little depression and anxiety in people....
Ive been having thoughts, not suicidal, about really really changing things in my life.....
I want to think that im thinking level-headedly, but then I think about a post I wrote early on in my journey and someone said dont make any life changing decisions for a while....Well how long is a while?

You're over a year out, so I'm not so sure that what you're experiencing is "hormonal dump" at this point. The weight loss has slowed down at this point and the hormones should have started leveling out at this point. You might have hit the nail on the head with this time of year causing depression in some people.
I suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) every year when the time changes and there's less daylight in the evenings. . . not really enough to cause a depressed state, but I just don't seem to have the "get up and go" attitiude that I have during the summer when the days are long and sunny. We've had more than our share of cloudy, overcast days lately and it's beginning to take its toll on me.
Have you considered talking to your doctor about light therapy to see if that helps?

Pre-Op 3 mos. post op 5 mos. post op At Goal Surgery Date - 12/10/2009 Goal Met -8/26/2010
I don't think what you are having has anything to do with surgery. "Hormonal Dumping" would be fairly close to your surgery, not this far out. It very likely is SAD. Check with your dr. for some help. Getting outside when it's sunny is supposed to help also.
