Good Morning Train!
WOOOHOOOO for Lunar Eclipses! LOL This one is very rare in that it's occuring on the winter soltice, the last time that happened was around 300 years ago. I'm still trying to get ready for Christmas and Mom coming too. Too much to do and not enough time to do it in, as usual!
Prayers are going up for all that need them!
I'm really grooving on the flashback Christmas songs, so here's Bing (Crosby, for ya'll younguns) singing Do You Hear What I Hear...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARt3PRLz3xM
Said the night wind to the little lamb,
Do you see what I see
Way up in the sky, little lamb,
Do you see what I see
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy,
Do you hear what I hear
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy,
Do you hear what I hear
A song, a song, high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king,
Do you know what I know
In your palace warm, mighty king,
Do you know what I know
A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring Him silver and gold
Let us bring Him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere,
Listen to what I say
Pray for peace, people everywhere!
Listen to what I say
The Child, the Child, sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Good morning all! Well, whatever the moon did or didn't do, it happened without me-I was SLEEPING...but felt those lunar pulls yesterday--and will again today, with my patients who have Alzheimer/Dementia type conditions-lunar stuff plays HAVOC ( a nice word for HELL) with their moods/emotions, etc...whew..very real stuff...same with OB-as STEPH can attest to. Have a dinner party tonight, so can thru ANYTHING today, just knowing having my peeps to look forward to!!
Prayers all around-many hurting this time of year. Special prayers for our Cajun girl, DANA, has she faces foot surgery today.
Hope everyone has a TERRIFC TUESDAY!

I, too, was a sleeping beauty and missed the eclipse.

I am so proud of myself I have met my halloween goal and almost at my Christmas goal. I recently had to go buy new pants because I could not fit into anything anymore. EVERYTHING IS TOO BIG! Ahem, sorry for shouting this is so awesome!! I am back into 22s; I have not worn that size in about 5 years.(so my kids tell me) and it feels great. All I need now is to get rid of this sagging skin around my arms, mid-section, legs, butt, and neck and I will look pretty good, if I do say so myself. But I will not stop until I reach about 135-155lbs and be a real skinny-minnie me!!
Well I have to take car for inspection today. It is not due until the first, but why wait. I will probably just forget and get stopped and that is not a good thing.
Laters,
Jo
Finishing up stuff in my office..almost done! wohoo! I never thought I'd get this far so its very nice to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I started washing all of Blake's things last night. I did three full washing machine loads full and still have about three or four left. For such a little guy he sure does have a ton of stuff.
Speaking of Blake- I missed the eclipse last night too. I had a few contractions but no labor yet. I'm feeling cheated! lol
Last night I got home from work and took a nap. Dirk got me up so I could eat dinner and then afterwards I took a bath. He sat in the bathroom with me so we could talk about work and kids and such. He always helps me out of the tub nowadays. I was never the most graceful person to begin with but the thought of falling out of a garden tub while I am this huge is a little unsettling. Truth be known I'd probably just bounce! We went through the million bags of Christmas presents and put them in boxes so the kids could wrap them. We eventually ran out of boxes so there's still a stash left to go. It's hard making everything even when there's four kids. It seems like whenever I get it all caught up then I find another present or realize that someone really wanted something I haven't picked up yet. I don't know if they would even notice, but I try to keep it straight.
I need to get back to my folders... hope everyone has a great day!
