Surgeries today

Let's give some support for our sweet Cajungirl today as she has foot surgery.  Hope it goes well Dana.

Also, we will welcome a newbie WLS friend/LISD co-worker who will be sitting on the loser's bench this afternoon as she has RNY today with the same surgeon I used, Dr.Terry Scarborough.  She's having her surgery at Hermann in Houston.  She's already done a terrific job losing 90 lbs. on her own.  She is S_evansmom on OH.  Give Destiny a big welcome to the loser's bench!

Welcome, and congratulations.  I am still pre-op but I personally support each and everyone here even if I can't post to everyone.

 Thanks, Karla! I am feeling better, but still sore. Dr. Scarborough was so compassionate! The Hermann Nursing team was fabulous. I am trying to do the shake, water and vitamin regiment today for my first day on full liquids. I can only get 4 drams/ .5 ounce in at once. The whole ounce every 15 minutes make such horrible pressure in my pouch area. I have been moving around doing light work around the house, like folding clothes. But I could handle a nap about right now. I am a bit shaky still. I actually gained weight (5 lbs) with the surgery with all the fluids. This morning I was on pound away from my pre-op weight. I am looking forward to a new life, but I am still afraid of possible
complications.
