The Journey 12/18
Christmas is a week away! Are you ready?
Yesterday my daughter and I took off work, put the babies in daycare, and went shopping. We started at 8 a.m. and I got home at 7 p.m. We picked up the kids at 3:30 p.m. so they were with us for several hours. We ate out all 3 meals.
For breakfast I had soft scrambled eggs and bacon, and a few bites of hash brown potatoes. For lunch I had the beef insides out of a chimichanga and some refried beans. For dinner I ate two meatballs, salad, and a small piece of garlic bread. I think I did pretty well considering.
I have most of my shopping done, except for a few things that I can't buy until I get my bonus tomorrow, plus I have four young adults who will get money.
This morning my daughter will pick me up about 8 a.m. and we will take Ivy to the doctor for shots, then the kids are going to Chik Fil Et for Breakfast with Santa. Later we will visit a family friend who is in town.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
