Saturday WLS train

I have been covered up with do rag orders, seems I haven't been here in ages! I have good intentions every morning then things go haywire!!

Beast and I finally made a grocery store run this morning, I've got stuff in the crock pot and a pot of chili on the stove for the week. We aren't going anywhere for Christmas so I thought about just making a small dinner at home. When I saw the price of the smoked turkey and hams, we decided grilled fish and shrimp sounded really good! Besides, we ate turkey for 3 days at T-day! So I think we'll have a mish-mash...grilled tilapia and shrimp, cornbread dressing with cranberry sauce and crescent rolls. Sounds like a new tradition to me!!!

Eating dinner of baked chicken and green beans w/ bacon. Making up for the breakfast of buscuits and gravy!
No Xmas shopping done here....Probably won't either. Except for the grandbaby and then it will only be diapers.
Planning the dinner and making the grocery list for next Saturday though. Christmas is about family and that is what we are going to have over. We can eat until we pop!!!
