Doing the happy dance this morning as I have been trying to get under 150 for weeks now and finally made it.  I haven't lost this much in 2 weeks in quite a while so I am glad to know my tool still works.

I don't really recommend they way I lost it though.  I was working a plant shutdown and have put in 95 hours since last Monday (I am salaried so no OT - boo hoo) and have to wor****il Thu this week w/o a break.   I bought all sorts of protein snacks - cheese sticks, ham. protein bars, peanuts, etc but I hardly had time to eat any of them.  Lunch and dinner were eaten in front of a computer screen w/o a break.  I climbed ladders and walked the plant a lot, so the combination of physical activity and 3 small meals a day with no snacks really did the trick.

I just wish I could do that with my regular office job, but I can't.  I get hungry and it is harder to ignore at the slower pace.  I can maintain < 150 with snacking as long as I don't get carried away.

I know this is a really tough time of the year..... how did everyone else do?

Thanks - hopefuuly I can keep it off during the holidays.   My Dad is coming in from Vegas on Friday for his twice-a-year trip.  His bday is tomorrow (77 and still working full time) so I will be baking him his favorite - carrot cake.  He is diabetic now so it will be sugar free and not a big temptation for me.

Congrats on your loss - you are doing great!

I guess I can count this week a success, I didn't gain! I've been within 1lb for the last month.

Congrats, Sarah, on getting back where you like to be!

YAY - you stopped the bleeding, so to speak.  Hopefully it is just your body being hunky and it will get the message to start losing weight again soon.

Howdy yall!  It's been super duper crazy for me as the semester comes to an end.  This is finals week and grades are due as well as all those research papers.

I've missed the last week's monday morning weigh in but here's my stats anyway.

Highest: 264.5
Last week: 216.4
Today: 214.2
Loss/gain: -2.2

Woo hoo!  I lost my Thanksgiving weight AND i made it to my goal of losing 50 lbs!  I'm super happy with myself even though I'm busy with work and getting ready for the christmas holidays.
I went to my doc on Friday and he gave me a 0.2cc fill.  That brings me up to a total of 9.7 cc's in my 11 cc band.  I feel it.  I think this just might be my sweet spot.  *fingers crossed*
