H- PYLORI

Looking to see if anybody else has ever been diagnosed with the stomache infection H-PYLORI. I had it several years ago and had to take a large dose of antibiotics and  some kind of acid reducer. Thinking i am getting it again. All the stress of getting everything together for insurance so i can have a revisison from stomache stappling to RYN is about to get to me. I am scheduled to have a ENDOSCOPY done on the 20th so i guess they will see it if i do have it agian. Any input will help .......THANKS SHEILA

Ask your doctor to test you for it before surgery.  Mine tested me just to make sure, and I didn't have any symptoms. If you have it again, you will want to get it cleared up before surgery. I didn't think they could see H-Pylori. I thought it could only be tested for. I could be wrong.  They can see if there is inflamation or an ulcer, which could be caused by H-Pylori or something else. Good luck.

Shelia4  I was diagnosed with H Pyloric before I had my surgery in July 09. They precribe me an antibiotic and it gave me loose stool. I went to an health food store and they gaqve me a print out on an old Mediterraean  herb called Mastic Gum Herb. I took it for 21 days and was totally cleared. I  retook my H-Pyloric test and it was negative. Please go online and research the statistics on it. Good Luck. Let me know how you come out

Thanks Cabram i am not sure if i have it or not.  Dr. Spegeil hasnt ordered the test yet. I have my endoscopy Monday so say a prayer for me. They said if they find something such as hernia, stoma stretched, or anything such as that i may get to have my surgery early and may not have to have the 3 month Dr. assisted diet...
