A surgery angel is someone that is your sponsor or guider through the WLS process. It's usually someone a few years out and doing well with their weight loss. You can ask then questions and learn from them. If you'd like one- just post on here and I'd bet someone will volunteer.
I have 8 days to go till my surgery (RNY) and an Angel sounds like exactly what I need!!
I am so afraid, not of the surgery, but that I won't be strong enough to do my part. How do I calm my fears.
make 2 list. one is things you cannot do or have trouble doing because of your weight, then do a list of things you will be able to do whrn you loose the weight!! Study them and inspire yourself!
