Good Morning Train!
an early misty morning rain in the dark trees flashing past my headlights I just want to curl up by the fire and watch it rain out the window.... sigh.... My Mom is doing much better on hospice now, not so sick all the time, but in a lot of pain, Oxycotin or Morphine every two hours makes her loopy too... I'm calling out to our prayer warriors to keep her on your list... She needs some relief and has made her peace....
Prayers are going up for all that need them!

Good morning. Prayers for you and your mom Karen. I know that must be terribly hard to go through. I'm glad she has made peace with it.
Busy day at work here getting folders ready for meetings later this week. I'll go to Zumba after work, then come home and chill out.
Guess I better get ready for it to get really cold in a day or two!

Good morning! I don't like driving in rain, esp in the dark so I esp want to just stay home and curl up on the couch! But, I will head out. It feels like I"ve been off longer than 4 days. I'd say just 3 weeks till Christmas vacation but I'm not taking any.
Wednesday I'm in charge of the Dec birthday and Christmas party- we combine them in Dec. I'm calling it Merry Birthday! Its really early because of a conference next week that some are going to and then a retirement party the week after-Wed was about the only day most people were free. I've got a big bag of stuff to take to the office today and then some tomorrow and then all I'll have to take is the carnitas Wed. Its not particularly holiday-ish but Bryan makes a mean pork carnita so I'm bringing that. They're super super good!
I am also glad its a work day so I can get back on a regular schedule-food included. I do better when I have a schedule and the last few days I've not done a good job staying on schedule.

Back to work for me after 4 days off which I really enjoyed. Only shopping I did was for myself / house. Bought a new breakfast table and fridge which the fridge we needed the table I just wanted.
I put out my Christmas village and put up a tree for the 1st time in over 10 years. Now just need to start the shopping so the tree is not so bare underneath.
Glad to get back to a normal routine as I know I have a few pounds I will need to take off.

It's been really crazy that last few months with school and kids, but well worth it. I am shrinking clotheswise and bodywise, it's just freaky!! I am so happy I went through it and would do it again!!
Karen - Sorry to hear about your mom. We went through the same thing with my sister about 9 years ago. I don't remember to much because of the memory loss, but I do remember her and that is the most important thing. Spend as much quality time as you can, and just leave everything in God's loving hands.

Jumping on really quickly. I have so much to do! We have three weeks until Christmas break and I still have 5 more kids to test and 7 ARD meeting to hold before then. I want to get all this done so that if I don't some back from break that I won't leave it with the therapists covering my maternity leave.
It was really nice having last week off. I got a lot accomplished at home. When Christmas break rolls around I know that I will be able to finish up the last minute stuff.
Karen-I am so sorry about your mom. I know this has got to be tough. I am praying for you, her and your family.
