Winter blew into Houston this weekend - at least temporarily!

Are you a cold weather person?

I hate being cold - but I also hate artificial heat. It makes my skin dry and I feel heavier. There is no way I could sleep under an electric blanket. I'd rather have 10 quilts over me.

I spent most of yesterday helping my daughter with laundry, but  did spend two hours with an old friend. David met me at Applebee's and I brought a bag of old photos of people we knew from school - beginning in elementary school! It was a lot of fun.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Lynne, I really hate the cold! I have a mattress warmer pad. It has dual controls so I only have to heat my side of the bed. I turn it on when I get home, off when I get into bed, and slide into a toasyy bed!! Heaven!!

Gina, it really was! He remembers things that happened and people I had completely forgotten about! But I had photos of people he had forgotten!

He's a real sweetie and I'm so glad I found him again. We used to tell people we were brother and sister because we look so much alike. I've known him since elementary school.

I hate cold weather and YES I sleep with an electric blanket or my family will hear me complain constantly, LOL.
