Have to brave the crowds and get to Wally World for supplies when I get back down here.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Good morning all! DON-thanks for getting us started-sorry it's time for NORMA to go back already. That really sux!!!
Not too much fun stuff on my agenda today-plan to stay in/stay warm/clean out kitchen cabinets today. I'm sick to death of the clutter and crap. Hope I can STAY sick of it long enough to get the job FINISHED!
I saw the movie "Burlesque" last night-with TRACEY-it was great-even the parts I slept thru-if I could sing/dance like that I could afford to PAY someone to clean the crap out of my kitchen cabinets!
Hope everyone gets to do something FUN, just for THEMSELVES today...
I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT-haven't told ya'll that in awhile!!!

We Can Do Hard Things
As for me... Got up early, took the pups for a 1.5 mile walk (in the dark) and the sun was just coming up as we got back to the house. The grass was covered with frost, and my breath was "steaming". So funny watching the dogs react to seeing their breath for the first time - really goofy expressions on their faces. The bigger one tried to bite her own breath - LOL.
Back from the walk, still a bit "wired" and not wanting to go inside, so I decided to fill the chlorine supply for our septic system. Picked up three bottles of Clorox and carried them outside... Only when I set them down did it occur to me that combined, they weigh more than 15 lbs - my "limit" until 6 weeks after surgery. Oh well - nothing broke or tore, so I guess I got away with one...
Came inside, made coffee (decaf) and ate a piece of sugar-free pumpkin pie (44 calories, 8 carbs, 1 fats, 3 proteins, 4 sugars - without the crust) while the coffee brewed. Waited the requisite 30 minutes, then had my morning carb drink (1 C skim milk, 1 scoop Dutch Chocolate Isopure, 2 Tbs FiberCon, and 1 C decaf coffee).
Weight-wise, I'm in a bit of a stall (3-4 days with no loss), but I'm not worried, and not obsessing about it. Just keeping to the plan, and I'm sure the weight loss will resume. This is really my first stall, and I've lost > 30 lbs in the 2 1/2 weeks since surgery, so I'm not at all worried about it. I can feel the changes in my body, big time! I've lost over 8 inches around my tummy, 4 inches off each thigh, and 2 inches around my neck. And I'm wearing pants two sizes smaller than the ones that used to be quite tight on me. All in all, I'm very happy with where I am, and content to let nature take its course.
That's incredible for 2 1/2 weeks! Don't get discouraged with the stall- weight loss will start back up in no time.
Good luck!

Nothing planned for my day yet. I need to clean the bedroom. I had it cleaned about two weeks ago and a closet shelf fell down. It started out a disaster but its down to minimal now, but it still needs some TLC. I may run to Allen to the outlet center. I need to pick up the middle daughter's birthday present. Dirk still isn't home from work yet- he's working the derailment in Dallas. The girls are with their mom and Chase is headed back to work, so its just me and Blake. As of right now he's just along for the ride! lol His lease is getting close to being up though!
Hope everyone has an incredible day!
Love you!
Tracey

Yes, it is time for me to go home, but I will be back on December 23 - January 3, and I cant wait to get back!! Hopefully, the house will sell soon, and then these types of trips will be a thing of the past. Yes, I will need to go back for the necessary visits with Mom & Dad, but at least our time apart will hopefully be kept to a minimum then.
Love you and miss you already, but I will be back on the 23rd to see you, Mr Train Conductor !!!
