We have almost made it through Monday and the day is winding down.  You all know what the means... time to confess how you really did!   Remember we have to be accountable for the choices we make so be honest and share the good with the bad!

Disclaimer: Please be honest with yourself here about how you really did! This is not a thread telling others how they should eat or passing judgments on others… but this is reality. Sometimes reality bites… we are all human and no matter how good our intentions may be at the beginning of the day. Life gets in the way and we all face temptations! It happens to everyone. So this journey is yours… own it, learn from it, and move on to the next day!!!

I had a wicked craving yesterday... General Tso's Chicken.  Since I am only 4 weeks out of surgery, my girlfirend told me I couldn't have it (too crunchy).  Today, she packed me a nice selection for my work day... deli turkey, string cheese, cottage cheese and a shake for mid afternoon.  I had to do some errands for lunch, so I stopped by my favorite Chinese place and ordered double cooked pork (it comes with steamed rice, an eggroll, and a crab rangoon).  I took it back to work and could only eat five or so bites.  I just wasn't hungry any more.  It was nice to be able to only have a little and be satisfied!  Now I have leftovers, but I believe it will be okay.  I am having trouble getting my fluids, not sure why, I guess I feel full.  Will have to do better.

Good Evening ladies!

B: protein shake(silk & max protein vanilla) check
S: yoplait yogurt (check)
L: soy burger (check
D: turkey mignon from Sam's(were clearanced out so I thought I'd try them since they are loaded with protein)---- I had to stop at Kroger to get stuff for our last minute pot luck tomorrow so it was fend for yourself night!  I had a couple of crackers with some spinach/artichoke dip

I also had 3 mini tootsie rolls at work today

All went as planned until tonight-just feel kinda pukey and didn't think beef would stay put, so had Click and some more pumpkin whip. Everything else in/done as planned

1/2 of a quarter tuna sammich
6bites orange chick
1 spring roll
pure protein bar
russell stover fart bar
may have sf klondike sammie later

looking forward to the scale tomorrow

Snacks: 100 cal swiss miss bar and a small sliver of pumpkin pie w/o the crust

Good Evening Ladies,

Had a decent day, I guess, even manged to get some exercise in this morning before I "hit the road."  Didn't have much of a plan, but I did make the best choices possible.  I'm finally all settled in at my in-laws and pretty beat from travel, but it's all good, because Ms. Vivian and I are together.

Have stayed on plan today

B: Ham and cheese omelet, toast with sf jelly
L: Tilapia / 5 spears of asparagus
D: One Taco, 1/4 c of rice and 1tbs of guacamole

Two bottles of water so for

Later will have frozen banana slices with a drizzle of chocolate and caramel syrup

The last 3 weeks, or so, have not gone well.  I have been slightly depressed.  I feel like perhaps my thyroid meds might need to be adjusted; I just don't know.  I hate this blue feeling.  As a result, I have been over eating.  Not so much "bad" stuff, but eating way too much. I stuffed with crackers last night and plunged my blood sugar.  I have missed taking my supplements and drinking my protein shakes.  Today is a new day, but I have to get my portions under control.  Based upon yesterday's eating it was as if I never had surgery.  That feeling compounds the way I am feeling right now.
