Update
Hi Everyone!
As Liz says Who wuddathought! I removed the pain pump today. My post op visit is next week. I've not had any type of discomfort other than the drainage tubes hanging around. I did upload some pictures and had them developed for my own journey documentation. My husband thinks it's weird and it probably is (to other people) but as we all know, it's a once in a lifetime journey.
I am also excited that my daughter is coming this weekend. Hmm guess she gets to wait on Mommy hand and foot. Pay back time! LOL
My husband brought me some flowers, a roaster, and a lamp. Maybe I should see if I can get another surgery next month to see what gifts he brings me?
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
Love and Blessings,
Nina

sounds like you are doing really well Nina. May you contine to heal through this weekend and the holidays. Your husband sounds like he's treating you well. Enjoy your visit with your daughter.

Better be something good is all I can say!! LOL I am doing the best I can, aking my meds faithfully. I think I will have Raylene take me to my hairdresser tomorrow so I can get my hair washed. Got a list for her already.

I did, we watched movies, of course I missed out on one because of the pain meds, but we put together a meal (thanksgiving/birthday). Ham, dressing, broccoli, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, pumpkin cheesecake pie, brie cheese pastry and tea.
It was fun cooking with her. I probably over did it some because I'm feeling some discomfort but I will be taking it easy today. Plenty of time to catch up on some reading that's for sure!
Miss you!
Love,
Nina
